"Christmas Retreat with Pups" We ventured out east to this inn with our two retriever pups for the holidays. We were looking for something different this year and we got it. The suite we reserved was perfect for us, and especially suited for our furry "children": Wood floors, 'fridge, bowls, a container full of 'treats', a packet of baggies, and a private entrance for visits outside when nature called. The linens, toiletries, towels, furniture and fixtures were all top notch. I loved the white decor and white walls and especially the fireplace. It was extremely comfortable and serene. Breakfast was delicious too. Every detail was addressed. What a great way to break away from the same-old holiday fare. “Another Wonderful Getaway” My wife and I were very pleased (again) with our stay and wonderful accommodations at this beautifully appointed getaway inn in East Hampton. The suites are magnificently decorated & painstakingly detailed. The gas fireplaces & luxurious featherbeds help to make this a great romantic getaway or simply a delightful respite from a sometimes hectic lifestyle. The innkeeper, Sylvia, and her staff are great. We are planning to make the Millhouse Inn a regular stop for local minivacations! "Ambience Incarnate" I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and the new year celebration. We could not get out of the room on her birthday - the bed was entirely too comfortable and the ambience much too romantic. Topping off that day, we were very pleasantly surprised when the owners sent up a bottle of champagne - such hospitality is, sadly, uncommon these days. The breakfasts are, without a doubt, the most scandalously delicious you will have on the East End. The Innkeepers are so warm you feel as though you are family about 15 minutes after you arrive. I must say that prior to my stay I thought them a bit expensive. After our visit, I find them to be a true bargain. Stay there. As long as you can. A lot. We are going back and hope to become regulars. “Loved the Mill House Inn!" My wife and I stayed at the Mill House Inn for our anniversary. This place is wonderful. The feather beds are the most comfortable beds possible ... your head almost disappears into the oh-sosoft pillows while the mattresses are firm and stable. Cookies every afternoon; and the most impressive array of cook-to-order breakfasts that rival the best hotels (examples include: crayfish and andoullie sausage omelette, chicken sausage and wild mushroom hash, make-your-own omelettes with over 20 fillings). The Inn is located just outside the cute downtown shopping area of East Hampton, and a half-dozen restaurants are within a few minutes walk. We will definitely stay here again, and recommend to all coming to the Hamptons. "Best B&B We Have Ever Stayed At" The Mill House Inn was a gem of a find. It had everything we wanted - king-size beds, non-smoking and private baths. The amenities are outstanding - full range of bath products, plenty of towels and ample seating areas in the rooms. Small touches were a delight - fresh cookies in the afternoon and complimentary map and welcoming letter. The Mullers were extremely helpful making dinner reservations at Della Femina down the street. But the star here is the incredible breakfast offering. Fresh fruit to begin (tropical and berries) and a wide choice of omelet's, eggs and other selections. We'll be back!
