Come to the Clinton Academy, constructed in 1874 as one of the first academies recognized by the Board of Regents, to view this beautiful exhibition and meet the artists. Enjoy the historic atmosphere while you indulge in a glass of wine and examine the latest collection of paintings and photographs depicting many of the sites conserved with the help of the Trust. Participating artists include: Casey Chalem Anderson, Susan D'Alessio, Terry Elkins, Aubrey Grainger, Gail Kern, Michele Margit, Gordon Matheson, Joanne Rosko, Eileen Dawn Skretch, Tom Steele, Kathryn Szoka and Ellen Watson. Several artists will be on-site all day working at their easels, or with camera lens in hand, to capture the color and ambiance of this historic place. Visitors are encouraged to view the exhibit of their work as part of the traveling exhibition of "Plein Air Peconic," on display at the Clinton Academy from June 12 through July 6. All work in the exhibition is for sale, and a portion of all sales will be donated to the Peconic Land Trust.
