THE GALLERY SAG HARBOR 125 Main Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963 631.725.7707 Sat 6/27 Sag Harbor Art Tour and Silent Auction to benefit Save Sag Harbor 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Rebecca Cooper of The Gallery Sag Harbor and Tulla Booth of Tulla Booth Gallery will host an art tour canvassing Sag Harbor on Saturday, June 27, followed by a silent auction to benefit Save Sag Harbor. All are welcome to attend the free walking art tour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., which will start at the windmill on Long Wharf. The silent auction benefiting Save Sag Harbor will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Christy’s Building Art Center.

Guest curator Lynn Dunham of Art Rent & Lease has assembled a group of artists who find unexpected beauty in unusual textures.

Participating artists include international and local artists whose work is currently on rotation with Art Rent and Lease - a cyber-gallery that rents, leases and sells fine art to business and residential clients, including eco-friendly Green Art. Lynn Dunham brings her unique art-acquiring concept to SURFACE LIBRARY in supportof emerging and established artists and to promote sustainable, green and environmentallyfriendly art.

Hearing melodious sonnets in the home was something that young Frank Anthone experienced everyday being the seed of musical parents. Being tutored in music by his parents Frank Anthone was first introduced to the stage when he began playing for the choir at his father’s church at the age of 8.

Being gifted with the ability to play and then write music, at the age of 14 this young musical prodigy was asked by the “God Father of Gospel Music” The Late Rev Timothy Wright, to join his remnant of minstrels as a keyboard player.
