The members of The Naked Stage believe in the possibilities generated by the collaboration of devoted people. We wish to provide a focal point for the encouragement of theatre and all it’s associated arts. The Naked Stage: Works in Progress serves as an incubator and laboratory for actors, writers, directors, dancers, composers, musicians and designers to practice and explore their craft free from the constraints of production schedules, budgets, criticism and public performance. 5/8 – 5/17 The Springs Community Theater presents ANYTHING GOES Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, May 8 – 10 and May 15 – 17 in The John Drew Theater. Jonathan Peters and the actors who delviered the successful farce "Don't Dress for Dinner" by Marc Camoletti for Spindletop Productions at the John Drew Theater in 2002 reunite to explore the possibility of another zany production for East End audiences. Alec Baldwin hosts The Hamptons International Film Festival: The Cove. The Cove won the 2009 Audience Award for best documentary at Sundance. The iconic legend of stage and screen, the one and only Liza Minnelli, officially opens the newly renovated John Drew Theater. A two-time Tony award winner, Ms. Minnelli has also received an Emmy, a Grammy and and Oscar.
