His name is Jesus Sanchez and he’s an architect by trade. But his business is furniture. And if you haven’t noticed, there’s a new, large building on the road to the airport in the Playas de San Felipe section of town. Its the newest independent furniture business in San Felipe, Elegancia Muebles. According to Jesus, residents of San Felipe have been clamoring for an establishment that offers a variety of styles and choices, good quality, and affordable prices. That just hasn’t
existed here until now. Elegancia Muebles, which means Elegant Furniture, carries everything from classic styles to contemporary to Mexican Rustic. They specialize in nothing but furniture. You won’t find appliances, electronics or anything else that doesn’t belong in a fine furniture store. While there is a showroom floor with furniture on display, much of what they offer can be ordered from the many manufacturers’ and wholesalers’ catalogs they carry. You’ll find names like Aico, Fairmont Designs, Ashley, La-Z-Boy, Home Elegance, Primo International and Coaster, all makers and wholesalers of the finest furniture and accessories. Primo International is also a world class mattress manufacturer. This means Jesus plans to be full-service, from living room to dining room to bedroom and everything in between. With over nine years in the home furnishings business, Jesus knows what it takes to please home builders and home owners. The store is open Monday thru Friday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., Saturdays 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., and Sundays 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.
