The male gamete it reaches the goes down inside its ovary pollen tube to the ovary where the female gamete can be found 3. The male gamete & the female gamete join. Fertilisation takes place and the zygote is formed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsBQQDg5GIw

ď ˝

The zygote develops & the seed is formed. Has 3 parts:

The radicle

The embryo:

Small root

Produced in the zygote

The hypocotyl

Tiny version of the future plant 3 parts

Small stem The cotyledon

Leaves

Endosperm: Is nutritious substance that envelops and feeds the embryo 

Seed coat: Envelops the seed & protects it 

It is formed around the seed in angiosperms After ferstilisation, the flower loses:  Sepals  Petals  Stamens  Style  Stigma The fruit´s function is to protect the seed and help it in its dispersion

The seed can by dispersed by:  The wind  The water  The animals  Etc If the environment conditions are favourable, the germination can take place

Steps: 1. Seed absorbs water 2. Causes its coat to break 3. Seed opens 4. Embryo begins to develop 5. Creating a new plant ď ˝
