The adventure starts on your arrival with transport from the nearest local airport either to your hunting lodge or hotel. If you prefer, why not enjoy spectacular sce nery and arrive in style from the airport in a helicopter? Experience the exceptional luxury of high end accommodation and facilities, where attentive yet discreet staff are always on hand. We’ll take care of all bookings, enabling you to relax and look forward to embracing your chosen destination’s hunting culture. All transportation to and from a hunting location is provided as is a delicious, traditional lunch, served in an authentic hunting lodge, purpose-built cabin or camp. Your safety is a legal requirement. We’ll manage the numbers closely on each party and as you would expect, lessons and shooting practice within a secure, safe environment are obligatory. All meals and drinks, such as fine wine and in Scotland, even finer whiskey, are included! All underpinned by the highly respected and skilled Professional Hunters who earn their livelihood on the moors, in forests or in the wild, deserted plains of Africa. These are the gifted individuals who turn authentic hunting experiences into safe, enjoyable and truly memorable occasions. Stalkers, ghillies, gamekeepers and handlers – very often with highly trained working dogs – are passionate about the countryside, its animals and the relevance of hunting in helping to preserve the environment. During your stay, they will be present at all times to support and assist you through the sometimes challenging realities of hunting or fishing. For safety reasons, you will be fully briefed on estate protocols and actively encouraged to follow precise instructions in the handling of guns and how to interact with anything or anyone around you. This ensures that you make the best of your time with us and that you return home with memories to last a lifetime.

Safety, Insurance and Legalities At Viscount Sporting Estates we want you to reap the substantial rewards that an authentic sporting experience brings, so we keep the “rules” to a minimum. However, without care and attention your time with us could be compromised; your safety and that of those around you is our prime concern. Therefore, our guides will oversee all hunting or fishing activities and advise you appropriately at all times. All our packages are fully insured. Our Pubic and Employer’s Liability Insurance policy covers our commercial shooting activities for up to £5m. If you’re joining us as a novice, you will be fully insured when under our direct supervision. However, all more experienced clients must demonstrate that they hold their own Public Liability Insurance if they wish to shoot unaccompanied. As hunting is part of the natural culling process in animal management and husbandry, our hunting experience holidays comply strictly with all UK and international legislation.

You’ll be truly at one with nature and embrace the responsibility of a natural, ethical process. You’ll need commitment and focus.
