WELCOME TO LUMINATE

WELCOME TO LUMINATE! Tena koe. Nga mihi atu ki a koutou. Nau mai, haere mai, karanga mai! Welcome to Luminate! The purpose of Luminate is to co-create a thriving festival of music, arts and inspiration, activating positive change beneficial to the ecology. Luminate’s vision is heart-centered community flourishing in resonance with nature. Luminate is held at the time of Lughnasadgh (Lunasa) in the southern hemisphere, midway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. Traditionally Lunasa is a fire festival, often held on top of a mountain, and is a potent time for people to come together from far and wide to celebrate life and connect as community. It is a time to celebrate the abundant gifts of nature, give gratitude to our earth mother, empower the divine goddess energy, bring balance between yin & yang within us all, share skills, knowledge, inspiration, healing, food, music & creativity. The intentions of Lunasa feel as relevant to us today as they were for our ancestors thousands of years ago. Over the years, since beginning in 2008, Luminate has developed a unique culture and growing international reputation, especially within the transformational festival community worldwide. Recently Luminate was nominated as one of the top five finalists for “Outstanding Green Event” in the 2018 FestX Awards; a significant achievement considering the huge number of events globally, and a wonderful acknowledgement of the innovative ecological strategies that are fundamental to Luminate. Luminate’s culture encompasses our values, how we do things, what’s most important to us, what we feel most aligned with, and the guiding principles that help Luminate achieve its purpose and vision. Our culture includes earth-friendly consciousness, innovation, participation, co-creation, self-responsibility, respect, compassionate communication, integrity, unity in diversity, knowledge sharing, music, arts & creativity, sacred geometry, holistic health, celebration and aroha. Luminate encourages people to engage with self-responsibility, recognising that the choices we make are critical in manifesting the “reality” that we all share. If we wish to see an ecology in balance, thriving and healthy, then we must make decisions and take actions to support this. 4

LUMINS

LUMINS Luminate is excited to present Lumins - an alternative currency for the Luminate festival community. We feel inspired to explore options for alternative currencies and other innovations that help our communities flourish. We hope that you will enjoy using Lumins as an energy exchange. LUMINS AT LUMINATE

• All Adults and Youth will receive a free Lumins card on arrival at the festival Gate. • The card can be activated with Lumins at the Lumins Portal, situated close to the Village Market within the event site. • The final frontier for trading using cash or eftpos is at the festival Gate if buying a Ticket is needed. • Once within the festival, the Luminate community will all be trading only in Lumins which will be accepted by all Market traders, Healers, Luminate Cafes & the Info Hub. Cash doesn’t need to be carried around the event site any more. • 1 Lumin will be equivalent to 1 $NZ for ease of conversion.

LUMINS PORTAL

• The Lumins Portal will be open from Wednesday 30th January – until Wednesday 6th February from morning till late evening, and from 8am - midday Thursday 7th February. • Activating and recharging the Lumins card is free and can be done during the opening hours of the Lumins Portal. • Lumins are added to your card by exchanging fiat currency in the form of either cash ($NZ), eftpos or credit cards. (Credit cards may incur a fee & interest charge from your bank regarding its terms for withdrawing cash).

LUMINS CARD

• The card is made from bamboo and contains a tiny data chip. The chip remains inactive until in close proximity to a reading device (a small battery powered scanner), whereby data is transferred by radio frequencies. The Lumins card does not require a pin number or Wi-Fi. • When you buy something from a Trader, present your Lumins card and the scanner processes the payment, similar to “paywave”. You can also request a balance update at the point of sale. • Integrity is part of Luminate’s culture and thus your Lumins card is completely anonymous, and will not be linked to your name and no personal data will be collected.

6

Luminate Festival 2019

LUMINS

• Keep your Lumins card safe. If it is lost it is like you have lost your cash or wallet. All Participants are responsible for looking after their own valuables. • There is a unique number on the back of the card – this is for refund purposes after the event – and whilst it is not linked to your name, you are welcome to record your number so that if you happen to lose your card you could check at the Info Hub to see if it has been handed in, as many wallets have been in the past. • A fee will have to be charged for a replacement card. • If needed, parents can buy a Lumins card for a child (under 14years old) at the Lumins portal.

AFTER LUMINATE

• At the end of the festival, unused Lumins can be returned to you in $NZ via the Lumins Portal, or the value of the unused Lumins can be donated to Luminate Festival Educational & Spiritual Trust. A receipt for the donation can be provided on request. • Alternatively, you can request an online transfer to your bank account for up to one month after Luminate, until 6th March 2019. • There is a unique code on each Lumins card for the purpose of returning unused funds after the festival. Visit the Lumins section on the Luminate website to be directed to the refund page www.luminatefestival.co.nz/lumins • Please note that Luminate does not process the refunds, the technology supplier (AWOP) provides this service and terms & conditions may apply. • One month after the festival, all unclaimed balances remaining will be donated to Luminate Trust’s fundraising towards building a new multi-purpose stage at Canaan Downs.

AWOP (ANOTHER WAY OF PAYING)

Luminate is working with an innovative partner AWOP (Another Way Of Paying), based in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a long-standing reputation of providing customised solutions for festivals and events. AWOP will be providing the Portal and technology for Lumins at Luminate 2019. The Lumins Portal will be managed by Luminate’s FAB crew & volunteers, in collaboration with AWOP staff. We are impressed with AWOP’s commitment to ensuring total anonymity for Luminate’s Participants, to embracing our purpose and intention around creating an alternative currency, and to finding an eco-solution for the production of the Lumins cards. More details on Lumins are available from the Lumins Portal within the event site.

CAMPING & INFORMATION

CAMPING & INFORMATION CAMPING AT LUMINATE Camping is allowed in the open meadows only. You are welcome to use your own materials to create shade and shelter. • Absolutely no camping or parking in the forest or under trees. Beech trees can drop limbs at any time, and the forest needs to be looked after to encourage regeneration. • Fires are not allowed. There is a fire ban for good reason. • Noise in the campsite must be minimized out of respect for all others. • Generators & sound systems are not allowed in the Camp Site. • Trading is only permitted in the Village Market by authorised Traders approved by Luminate. • It is a condition of Admission that you agree to be responsible for any waste that you generate, to pack out all that you bring and to leave no trace. You are responsible for tidying your campsite after the festival and taking all your rubbish & recycling with you.

LIVING WATER

Water is provided from a mountain spring source. It is living water and many people understand the importance of access to pure untreated water. You are welcome to boil or chemically treat the water before drinking if you prefer or if you usually only drink water treated with chlorine. • Bring your own containers to refill water from the taps provided in the Camp Site and in the Event Site. • We need to share this precious resource - Conserve water at all times. • Some solar showers are provided in the Camp Site. The water will be warm only when the sun is out. • Use your own solar shower bag if you can. • Only earth-friendly, biodegradable cleaning and washing products can be used at Luminate. • There is a small stream – Gold Creek - approx. 10 mins walk to the north of the Festival Site. Never use washing products in this stream or other waterways, and do not enter the water if you have sunscreen or other chemical products on your skin.

Luminate Festival 2019

CAMPING & INFORMATION

VEHICLES AT LUMINATE All vehicles parked in the Camp Site are advised to remain parked for the duration. • For Health & Safety reasons Luminate cannot allow vehicles to leave the Camp Site and return. • It is important to minimise traffic on the Canaan Road and to reduce carbon footprints. • Anyone needing to leave the Festival Site will need to have good reason, will sign out at the Gate, and will receive a temporary re-entry pass. This pass is required along with photo ID and a valid wristband to be approved re-entry. • Someone wearing a festival wristband will not be approved re-entry unless they also have the required re-entry pass and matching photo ID. The wristband will be checked and a damaged wristband will not be accepted as valid. • The returning Participant(s) will need to park a distance away from the Camp Site in a designated non-camping vehicle park. • If you are camping in your vehicle and are considering leaving and returning we recommend you think again – camping is not permitted in the returning Participant’s vehicle park! Luminate is under no obligation to approve people leaving the Festival and returning. Many events do not permit this. Luminate is willing to help accommodate people with a valid unavoidable reason for needing to leave and return, however this has to be managed carefully. Your understanding is appreciated.

PLEASE NOTE: A valid unavoidable reason does not include needing to leave to buy food or get more cash. Participants are required to come prepared for camping in a sub-alpine environment for the duration of their stay at the Festival. REGENERATION OF THE NATIVE BEECH FOREST Luminate Trust and the Canaan Downs Collective have been working together since 2010 to encourage regeneration of native forest and biodiversity at Canaan Downs. • The forest is a living ecosystem and is currently showing signs of new regeneration. Any activities that will disturb this process are not permitted. • To minimise impact please walk on existing tracks if possible when visiting the forest, leave branches where they have fallen, and do not disturb the forest floor as this can damage the young seedlings. • The forest is home to the Powelliphanta, the rare giant native snail. Leave any shells as you find them and be careful where you walk. Do not remove the shells as the snails need to eat them for generating new shells. The beautiful snails are an “at risk” species; thank you for caring for them. Luminate Festival 2019

CAMPING & INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE: The land at Canaan Downs has natural hazards, beech trees can

drop branches and be unstable. The land geomorphology is karst (limestone) with sink-holes and hidden crevasses amongst many other features. Take care where you drive, camp, walk or ride your bike. You enter the site at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and belongings.

FOR WOMEN, FAMILIES & BABIES

Here are some ways you can support Luminate’s ecological sustainability whilst camping and when using the compost toilets: Babies & Nappies Using washable nappies at Luminate is welcome and encouraged. There are compost toilets for tipping potties into; wash basins and taps for filling up soaking buckets; plenty of space to rig drying lines or stand drying racks for hanging nappies. Babies are also welcome to be nappy free if the parents are comfortable with this and willing to be mindful of cleaning and removing any surprise toilet moments. As we also request with hair and body soaps - please use only eco friendly soaking/washing products. If you aren’t able to bring your washable nappy station with you then we encourage you to resource the most ecologically friendly nappies you are able to. We also suggest finding some nappy bags for your used nappies - this will reduce the smell in your rubbish collection. Nappies (unless organic & biodegradeable) are not friendly to the compost toilet system...

FOR WOMEN’S HYGIENE - Monthly cycles often syncronise with others at events; please be prepared with your preferred products. Moon cups are becoming a popular sustainable option. Washable pads are also an ecologically friendly option for your menstrual time. If you are using disposable sanitary pads or tampons (unless organic) please do not throw them in the compost toilet. Be prepared to wrap used sanitary pads and take them with you to dispose of appropriatelty. Be prepared to take these with you. Never put these in the compost or compost toilet: • Nappies with gel or plastic • Synthetic baby wipes, synthetic cloths etc • Sanitary pads and non organic tampons • Plastic bags Only biodegradeable materials are suitable for the compost. ECOLOGY

ECOLOGY ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS All Participants at Luminate are invited to engage with a range of strategies that help to manifest the reality of living in resonance with nature. Luminate demonstrates how our own personal choices can make a huge difference, and each individual has a significant role to play in helping to create a clean environment and a thriving ecology.

ECOLOGICAL INITIATIVES AT LUMINATE A RADICAL WASTE MINIMISATION STRATEGY No rubbish or recycling bins, no disposable single-use items, only re-usable plates & cups, festival avoids litter and remains a clean environment.

BALANCING ECO-FOOTPRINTS Facilitating regeneration of native forest and biodiversity on the festival site. Solar showers, some solar power, rocket stove water heating, minimizing vehicle use.

COLLABORATIVE CO-CREATION Most aspects of the festival are organised and run in-house by Luminate crew and volunteers in alignment with Luminate’s purpose, vision & culture.

COLLECTIVE LAND GUARDIANSHIP Luminate Trust & the Canaan Downs Collective members invest in the land for long-term community benefit and protection of the natural ecosystem.

CONSCIOUS CAFES Luminate runs 5 cafes with organic, nutrient dense, vegetarian, superfood & ketogenic menus from local and ethical trade suppliers.

CREATIVE COMPOSTING Luminate’s design of thermophilic, aerobic compost toilets, plus composting food leftovers, builds soil to complete the nutrient cycle.

LIVING WATER Use of greywater filtration systems and earth-friendly washing products, mountain spring water source.

ECOLOGY

LOCAL COMMUNITY INITIATIVES Supporting local food growers & small businesses, providing a range of opportunities for local community.

RESPECT FOR RESOURCES Infrastructure, décor, furnishings & amenities created by re-purposing second-hand resources and from natural materials sourced locally.

SELF-RESPONSIBILITY All festival Participants are required to pack out all that they bring & leave no trace.

WASTE MINIMISATION 1) NO RECYCLING OR RUBBISH BINS There are no rubbish bins or recycling facilities provided at Luminate. This is a core principle and deliberate educational aspect - all festival Participants are required to take self-responsibility for any rubbish or recycling that they may generate, to pack out what they bring and to leave no trace. Luminate’s ecological initiatives support this strategy and help reduce the potential for waste to be generated in the first place. For example; • Cafes at Luminate provide a wide range of healthy food and drinks at very reasonable prices, which reduces the need to bring lots of packaged food and greatly minimises the creation of rubbish. • Market Traders are not permitted to sell any single-use products, items in packaging, or food/refreshments in disposable containers. • Luminate is a non-alcohol event which helps to minimise the creation of rubbish & recycling. • Careful use of resources is considered at all levels of festival organisation To help maintain a clean environment at the event, please carry a container for cigarette butts, avoid using glitter or other products that can end up as litter, and if you see any micro rubbish consider picking it up and taking it with you. When packing up camp, take care to leave your campsite clean and pack out all that you brought in. All recyclable materials need to be washed and sorted to be accepted at the recycle centers. Rubbish needs to be in a TDC (local council) approved rubbish bag which can be bought at local supermarkets. Directions to local recycling and refuse centers are listed in the Festival Guide under Responsibility for Resources.

All marquees, covered spaces, food areas and all dancefloors are smkoe-free spaces - thankyou for your 12 Luminate Festival 2019 understanding and coopration to support clean air for all.

ECOLOGY

2) BRING YOUR OWN CONTAINERS Market traders and Luminate’s cafes only provide food and drinks in ceramic/ re-useable plates and cups, are not permitted to use single use disposables, and do not sell drinks in cans or plastic/glass bottles. • When visiting the festival cafes, you are welcome to bring your own plate/cup/ cutlery for food and drinks. Items can be washed at the sinks provided by the Village Market. • Luminate also provides a plate/cup/cutlery hire service at the Eco Dish facility beside Kai Organic, and will have ceramic mugs for sale with Luminate’s sacred geometry logo. • Bring your own water bottle/container to refill from water supply points at the event site.

3) COMPOSTING The design and use of thermophilic aerobic compost toilets, plus composting food leftovers, is a fundamental strategy that Luminate has implemented in every festival since we began in 2008 – We do this to avoid creating a waste product, to minimise water use and contamination of waterways, and to generate much needed nutrients to complete the food cycle. • All food scraps from the Village Market and Luminate’s cafes are composted. • Participants are invited to put personal food scraps in a compost enclosure in the Camp Site, and a composting area for food scraps from café meals is provided close to the Village Market. • The composting toilets are for biodegradable material only. • Organic matter (grass mowed from the event site) is added to the humanure to form a thermophilic compost system. • Remember that all compost becomes a resource to return to the land. Bring your own rubbish bag for any plastic items such as sanitary pads, tampon applicators, nappies, synthetic wipes etc, never dispose of these in a toilet or composting area, and instead take such items away with you to dispose of responsibly. • Toilet paper is unbleached, recycled paper. As with all resources please take care to minimize use. • The toilets are designed so that urine is collected before contamination with the solids, and this also helps to create an aerobic system. • Urinals are provided for men to use – strictly no stand-up peeing in the toilets! Shift Happens - We recommend reading The Humanure Handbook by Joseph Jenkins for detailed information on composting toilets, especially if you need to take a shift ; )

You can find out many more details on Luminate's eco strategies on the Ecology page of the website Luminate Festival 2019 luminatefestival.co.nz/ecology

WORKSHOPS

LAW OF ONE – THE RA MATERIAL LOVE & LIGHT RESEARCH (USA) Luminate is very excited to welcome Jim McCarty & Austin Bridges to share presentations on the Law of One, often referred to as the Ra Material. L/L Research is a non-profit organization dedicated to discovering and sharing information for the aid of spiritual evolution through channeling. The most prominent of this information to date is the Law of One philosophy shared by Ra during a series of channeling contacts between 1981 and 1984. Don Elkins and Carla L. Rueckert, founders of L/L Research, worked together for 12 years to perfect the channeling process and receive philosophical inspiration and guidance from ex-traterrestrial sources. When Jim McCarty joined them in 1980 they began to receive a new and unique type of channeling contact from those of Ra, a group mind intelligence. For thousands of years those of Ra have sought to teach the Law of One to seekers of truth on Earth who wish to learn of the unity or oneness of all things. This basic law of all creation is buried deep within each of our hearts because we really are one in love and in light, the building blocks of the universe. We are all manifestations of the One Infinite Creator. We are the Creator. Our journey of self-realization is the discovery or remembrance of this essential truth, our essential identity. Through a series of questions and answers, Ra helped lay a metaphysical blueprint of spiritual evolution, from the microcosm to the macrocosm, from the particulars of life on this planet to the life of the cosmos, to the possibilities of healing, transformation, and self-realization for spiritual seekers. “Jim McCarty (co-founder and President of L/L Research) and Austin Bridges (Assistant Director) come to Luminate Festival to offer a series of workshops and presentations that we feel will contribute to Luminate’s vision of fostering heart-centered community flourishing in resonance with nature. The nature of the material and information we share is rooted firmly in love, compassion, and service to others. It encourages the recognition of the unifying and interconnected relationship to all people and things. 60 Luminate Festival 2019

WORKSHOPS

We believe the evolution and transformation of the self is intrinsically linked to the transfor-mation of society, and fostering a greater relationship among people and with nature. Through a basic introduction to the Law of One and other L/L Research information, a framework of spiritual evolution—through self-reflection, forgiveness, acceptance, and service to others—can be offered. This basic framework can be built upon to relate to specific topics, such as navigating society and utilizing experiences for spiritual catalyst, fostering community and interpersonal relationships, service through healing the Earth, the metaphysical connection between ourselves and nature, service to others, and more. Our hope is that these workshops will offer a sacred space for attendees to learn and reflect on their spiritual evolution in the uniquely conducive atmosphere of Luminate. We believe that not only will these workshops contribute to the positive and spiritual atmosphere of Luminate, but they will enable attendees to integrate their experiences at the festival into their deeper being. Both equipped with a holistic spiritual framework and transformed by their experiences at Luminate, attendees can carry these into the world and their transformations can touch the rest of society.”

Here's some helpful guidance on what to do with any recycling & rubbish, and where to take it once you leave the festival: • Make sure you sort through all items, wash any cans or containers that can be recycled. • You will need to take your clean recycling and any rubbish items to a council Refuse / Recycling centre, called a Resource Recovery Centre or Transfer Station - see below for directions. • You can buy TDC approved rubbish bags at the supermarket for anything that can’t be recycled, and then there is no charge to dispose of your rubbish when you take it to the Transfer Station. • Refuse /Recycling centres are signposted on the main roads and have large facilities including a range of recycling bins and second hand shops. In fact, they are also great places to score lots of handy resources and upcycle other people's “trash”.

LOCATION OF REFUSE /RECYCLING FACILITIES: Take the Luminate ethos of self-reliance with you; if you have generated any rubbish or recycling then we encourage you to show responsibility and encourage others to do the same. Thankyou! TAKAKA - 45 Scott Road, Takaka. On the road between Takaka and Pohara, off Abel Tasman Drive. Open Mon, Wed, Fri, 8.30am – 4pm. Sat 9am – 4pm. Sun 1.30pm – 4pm. Along with rubbish & recycling facilities there is also a second hand shop which sells items reclaimed from going to the dump. You can visit nearby Labyrinth Rocks while you are there. 88 Luminate Festival 2019

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESOURCES

MOTUEKA - Robinson Road, Mariri. On the right off SH6 after leaving Motueka

towards Nelson. Open Mon to Sat 9am – 4pm. Sun 1.30pm – 4pm.

There is also a recycle shop which sells items reclaimed from going to the dump. NELSON - Nelson ReUse & Recycle Centre, 6 Vivian Place, off Pascoe Street in Tahunanui. (close to airport). Mon to Sat 8am – 4.30pm. Sun 10am – 4.30pm.

As well as rubbish & recycling facilities, there are two reuse shops on site where a wide range of second hand items are available for purchase, including “flash trash” at the front shop.

STAYING IN THE NELSON – TASMAN REGION There is a wide range of accommodation in the Nelson/Tasman region to suit all budgets, from hotels, motels and guest houses to backpackers and camp- sites. There are heaps of places with great food, great music, local artisans, and community events. If you wish to freedom camp: • It's really important that you use your skills of self-reliance and leave no trace. Besides taking your rubbish with you to dispose of properly (see previous page), you will need to be responsible for your toilets needs. • Making a portable compost toilet for solids & paper is fairly easy and you can find DIY examples and instructions on the internet. Out in nature away from it all, it can be acceptable to bury your toilet matter, providing it is not near a stream or source of water. • Carry a spade. Never leave any toilet paper visible on the land! • Avoid the crowds. If there are lots of people already camping, consider finding a quieter spot. Wherever you go or chose to stay, make sure you enjoy yourself and take care of the environment.

SACRED GEOMETRY AT LUMINATE

SACRED GEOMETRY AT LUMINATE SACRED GEOMETRY From the passion flower or a spiralling galaxy, we see patterns, cycles and forms in nature expressed via geometric patterns and Phi (the golden ratio). Since we began in 2008, Luminate has taken great care to embed golden ratio into all aspects of the festival, including the social dynamics. The festival site layout, alignment of zones, placement of poles, stage design, graphics and logos are all based on the geometry of the rhombic triacontahedron, pentagon, decagon, and rhombic hexecontahedron, providing harmonic resonance with nature, and enhancing ecological consciousness. The symbol in the Luminate logo encodes the sacred geometrical energies of the great rhombic hexecontahedron, which is the hub of the Luminate 'spacecraft flotilla’, providing heart coherence to community on a local and universal scale. 'Spacecraft flotilla’ is a term adopted by the Luminate crew to describe the complex interconnectedness of all the parts of the festival that need to be organized and co-created with a shared vision, ethos and heart connection. When we sing-dance-commune and empathize with nature, our hearts and minds create music in the scale of phi harmonics, forming networks that extend beyond, yet embrace, all time and all space. As Luminate Festival hosts 5 music zones, 5 workshop zones, village market and many other features, all of the activity zones are connected by this sacred geometry, and to the central heart hub, both physically on the land, and in an organisational sense. Golden ratio geometries reveal the invisible web of living systems. At Luminate we use this natural order everywhere we can. This is how we can flow through time-space in harmonic heart coherence. It is time for a focused intent to implement by action the change we would like to see. Luminate shows some cost effective options that can help complete the cycles that are currently broken. The geometry that we use represents the flux energy of creation, and the ability to change and to adapt to whatever is needed at the time from heart space resonance. Diverse perspectives, old and new, are needed so that different possibilities can be explored and the best accepted as a way forward. Hence the need for events to bring people together to gain focus and connect with shared purpose and intent.

CANAAN DOWNS COLLECTIVE

CANAAN DOWNS COLLECTIVE AOTEAROA Canaan Downs is one of New Zealand's most iconic, natural outdoor venues, and has a rich history of music events from the late 1990s to present times. The land also featured as one of The Hobbit film locations, with several sites featuring in the trilogy. Canaan Downs covers 200 acres, with approximately half in native beech forest and half in open grassland. The geomorphology includes karst (limestone) features, deep caves and marble/quartz outcrops. The land contains some of the oldest rock formations in New Zealand, and sits at around 750m elevation in the Pikikirunga mountain range. The Canaan Downs Collective formed in 2011, and raised sufficient funds to purchase the land, becoming responsible kaitiaki-guardians of this beautiful space. This project is an example of cooperative land ownership, sustainable land management, community participation and innovative environmental initiatives. The aims and objectives of the Canaan Downs Collective include: 1. Manage the land in an environmentally and financially sustainable manner. 2. Assist regeneration of the existing Beech forest, re-establish native trees, protect and enhance the biodiversity of the native flora and fauna, and provide a sanctuary for at-risk endemic species. 3. Ensure that Canaan Downs remains available and accessible to our communities for future generations for visitor access, events and activities in keeping with the nature of the environment and the values of Canaan Downs Collective. 4. Develop organic food producing initiatives, such as establishing fruit and nut trees and food gardens. 5. Encourage and support the continuation and sustainability of events on the land which attract significant visitors to the region and have benefits to the wider community. Currently there are close to 40 members of the Collective, comprising of people from the local Nelson-Tasman region and throughout New Zealand, and Luminate Festival Trust is also a key member. We welcome more people to join us. There are opportunities for people who are aligned with the aims, objectives and strategies to support the project, become involved in the land and become a member of the Canaan Downs Collective. If you would like to know more, details will be available to read at the Info Hub. Luminate Festival 2019 For more info on the Canaan Downs Collective visit the website www.canaandowns.org
