New OptiTemp IV and MX devices can be connected to the control system of Lumikko temperature control units, in which case data from the temperature control unit can be transferred to the Web service. The Web service makes it possible to monitor the thermostat settings and send alarms from the temperature control unit and maintenance reminders to a selected e-mail address. The service guarantees that the device is maintained at the correct time and allows the operability of the device to be monitored.
