The result is the most efficient diesel-powered truck solution on the market, with refrigeration power of up to 7 kW (-20 °C) at an outdoor temperature of +30 °C. The efficiency of the Lumikko L7 is based on the updated refrigeration circuit powered by a compressor developed by Bitzer. In addition, the unit is easier to control and has improved reliability through the updated operating logic. Product updates and increased power have improved the positive environmental impact produced by the Start/Stop function.
EASE AND PRECISION THROUGH OPERATING LOGIC
A NEW LEVEL OF RELIABILITY
The user-friendly Lumikko control panel makes the device easy to use. The user interface guides users using simple graphical symbols and their native language so that users only need to set the desired temperature and switch the device to mains or diesel mode. The Start/ Stop function built into the control system has been optimised to minimise the diesel engine’s running time, producing savings on fuel costs. As the thermostat has a shorter running time, the maintenance interval and unit service life are longer.
Longer maintenance intervals together with more precise control keep your fleet moving. The maintenance interval has been extended by raising the oil capacity of the diesel engine and reducing the engine running speed. The V-ribbed belts with automating tensioning used in the power transmission have a long service life and do not require maintenance during the replacement interval. All components have been positioned so that maintenance is as effortless and easy as possible. For example, filters can be replaced and oil changed through a single service door.
