The Journey of Life
My name is Addy Daniela, a mexican photographer, and I truly believe that the journey of life does not begin when you are born, but when you realize you are living. I have been traveling for the past months around Central America and South America, and I could see many things that made me learn, but the one thing that made me value my life and this beautiful planet was to find a history in each place, the history of a human race that goes beyond color and language, that goes beyond borders. We are the same no matter where we are. Photography is the way I choose to show my own perspective of life, to show the beauty of the earth and the way many people live and decide to live, to show the simple things that make us fall in love on the road. This trip has no end unless you want it. I invite you to discover it in the following pages.

Custodians of the Eearth “The Kogi” Sierra Nevada of Colombia
After walking ten hours in the sierra nevada of the caribbean coast of Colombia, I met the Kogi. Descendants of an ancient South American civilization called the Tayrona. Highly attuned to nature, the kogi believe they exist to care for the world, a world they fear we are destroying. The Kogi base their lifestyles on their belief in “Aluna” or “The great Mother”, their creator figure, who they believe is the force behind nature.
I was facing strangers and they were facing a stranger, yet they welcomed me with open arms.

Photographer of the maintenance of works of art. I worked for the Art Institute of the Universidad Veracruzana in México. I was in charge of taking photographs of the works already restored, to send them to an auction event.
