“HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.” It’s a common phrase meaning that our homes are a central place in our lives—where we rest our heads, nourish our bodies and make fond memories with loved ones. It’s the epicenter of our worlds, where we start and end each day, and where we keep our most prized possessions. This month, we bring you our Home issue, which is full of ideas for creating the best environment wherever you call home—whether it’s a cozy apartment, a spacious condo or a modest two-story house. Take a look at some of Frisco’s unique architecture; we’re sure you’ll appreciate the various styles of homes our town offers. With springtime upon us, there’s no better time for a little DIY project! Refresh your interior with a few new home decor accents, or tackle one room in your home for a more dramatic update. We hope this issue inspires you to appreciate the place you call home—both your

PGA OF AMERICA RELOCATING HEADQUARTERS TO FRISCO PGA of America is relocating its headquarters from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to Frisco with an initial investment worth more than half a billion dollars. The headquarters will be a 600-acre mixed-use development. The PGA of America will employ 100 people. Under this agreement, two PGA Championships, two KPMG Women’s PGA Championships and potentially a Ryder Cup will be held in Frisco. The development will have two championship golf courses, a short course and practice areas totaling 45 holes; a 500-room Omni resort and 127,000-square-foot conference center; a clubhouse; several trails; and a retail village. The gateway of the development will be located at Rockhill Parkway and Legacy Drive. The 600 acres are primarily situated within 2,500 acres being master planned by Hunt Realty Investments. The development will be open to the public, as well as golfers. The golf course is planned to open in summer 2022.
