Landscape Another amazing LANDSCAPE event in Battersea Park took place on the 19th & 20th of September 2017. With an incredible list of speakers and exhibitors the visitors certainly had lots to keep them busy. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that was involved. We are very much a team effort and without the support of the exhibitors, our amazing media partners and of course the trade associations, it just couldn’t happen. This edition we look at some of the people and products that were there. We return to Battersea in September 2018 and hope to see you there.

For The London College of Garden Design it really is the best place to meet new students who are interested in continuing professional development. Just what is it that makes it such an appealing and attractive show? Could it be the networking opportunities? That’s a very likely candidate, because, in a little over six hours, I still managed to miss at least a quarter of the relevant exhibitors due to excessive networking! The exhibitors are, almost without exception, highly impressed with the support provided by the organisers, and this is apparent from the number of them sporting Golden Pineapples to indicate they’ve already signed-up for 2018. For me, I think it must be the relaxed yet bustling atmosphere, the sense of not being cramped by having too many stands in too small a space, not being indifferent about what’s on show, and generally feeling it’s just about the right size for a day. -Tony McCormack, pavingexpert.co.uk
