Joe is excited to be returning to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Mainstage this season, having previously appeared as Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tyrell in Richard III and the Sea Captain/Priest in Twelfth Night. His other roles include the title role in Macbeth, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Ken in Romeo & Juliet(ish) and Ray in Lone Star for the Nevada Shakespeare Company; Johnny “the Priest” in Anna Christie at the Metropolitan Playhouse; Terrance in Ravioli at the Royal Exchange Theatre and Dr. Spinoza in Cabbages at Contact Theatre. Joe also is the director of education for LTSF, and he has worked on the D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program for six seasons.

Kate Atack Ensemble Kate is delighted to return for another summer with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. She made her LTSF debut last season as an ensemble member in Twelfth Night. She also has acted with the D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program, where credits include Viola in Twelfth Night, Ariel in The Tempest and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Other theater credits include Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Heads in Ubu the King, Greta in The Charm of Preparedness, Molly in Love Song, Marks in Talking With…, Jan in Cahoots and Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest.



Laura is thrilled to be returning to Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, where she was last seen as Viola in Twelfth Night. She is a former company member of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Great Lakes Theater, where favorite roles include Miranda in The Tempest, Jackie in Hay Fever, Jenny in Major Barbara, Diana in All’s Well that Ends Well, Katherine in Love’s Labor’s Lost and Belle in A Christmas Carol. She resides in Chicago, where credits include Mill Fire, The Farnsworth Invention (Joseph Jefferson Award Best Play), and Arms and the Man. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace University, and she is earning her MFA at DePaul University.

Neil Brookshire* Valentine Originally from Wyoming, Neil worked with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival for eight seasons: Stephen in Major Barbara, Edgar in King Lear, Orlando in As You Like It and others. With Great Lakes Theater, he portrayed Cliff in Cabaret, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew and Valentine in The Two Gentlemen of Verona. He has worked with Boise Contemporary Theater, Company of Fools (Idaho), Idaho Dance Theatre, Opera Idaho and Seattle Novyi Theatre. Film credits include The Pact, now screening in festivals around the country. He has a MFA in acting from Northern Illinois University, and he is founder of Dirt Hills Productions, featuring original audio theater and other creative works.

Her credits include Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods, Shelley Parker in Bat Boy: The Musical and Snug in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Great Lakes Theater and Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Other favorite productions include Hurricane (NYMF), The Who’s Tommy (European Tour) and Carlotta in the non-union premiere of The Phantom of the Opera (Baldwin Wallace University). She has a BA in music from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music, and she’s a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. Thanks to Charlie and everyone at LTSF/ISF. She’s thrilled to share the stage with her fiancé, Kevin!

Kevin Crouch* Launce His credits include Treplev in The Seagull; Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Cassio in Othello and Sebastian in Twelfth Night, Nephew Fred in A Christmas Carol, James Throttle in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Mr. Montfred in An Ideal Husband (Great Lakes Theater and Idaho Shakespeare Festival); Jester in Jester’s Dead/The Outfit, Howie in Rabbit Hole; Peter Flynn in The Plough and the Stars; Antigonus in The Winter’s Tale, Dr. Rank in A Doll House; Lumpkin in Smash; Lun Lun in Moonchild, Clive in I Am A Camera; and Duke of York in Richard II (NYU). He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater from Sam Houston State University and a MFA from NYU Graduate Acting. He is thrilled to perform with his fiancée, Erin. ILYAWBITW!
