Издательский проект, реализуемый Уральским филиалом ГЦСИ-РОСИЗО совместно с Благотворительным фондом «Синара», был вдохновлён многолетним проектом Швейцарского совета по культуре Про Гельвеция Collection Cahiers d’Artistes (Коллекция «Тетради художников» дословно с фр.). Цель этой инициативы — поддержка уральских авторов, которые работают в сфере современного искусства. Художники, которые вошли в первый блок проекта, были отобраны кураторами Уральского филиала ГЦСИ-РОСИЗО в процессе экспертного обсуждения и открытого голосования. Ими стали: Александр Баженов, Людмила Калиниченко, Тима Радя, Алиса Горшенина (alice hualice). Выбранные авторы используют в своём творчестве разнообразные художественные средства и поднимают разные темы. Единственный строгий критерий: настоящая публикация является первым монографическим изданием для победителей этого закрытого конкурса. Художественные работы сопровождаются в книге авторскими критическими текстами, сами книгитетради дополнены «интерактивными элементами»: в каждую из четырёх книжек вложен плакат, Людмила Калиниченко и Тима Радя предлагают авторские стикеры, Саша Баженов разработал поп-ап открытку, которую можно собрать по инструкции, alice hualice приготовила игру с переодеваниями.

The publishing project of the Ural branch of the NCCAROSIZO together with the “Sinara” Charity Foundation was inspired by the long-term project of the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia Collection Cahiers d’Artistes (literally Collection of Artists’ Notebooks (Fr.)). The goal of this initiative is to support Ural authors who work in the field of contemporary art. In the process of expert discussion and open voting curators from the Ural branch of the NCCA-ROSIZO selected those artists who should enter the first block of the project. Their names run as follows: Alexander Bazhenov, Lyudmila Kalinichenko, Tima Radya, Alisa Gorshenina (alice hualice). In their work the selected authors employ a variety of artistic means and raise different topics. The only strict criterion: the publication in question is the first monographic publication for the winners of this closed competition. In the book artistic works are accompanied by authorial critical texts, the notebooks are supported with “interactive elements”: a poster is embedded in each of the four books, Lyudmila Kalinichenko and Tima Radya added copyright stickers, Sasha Bazhenov designed a pop-up card, which can be assembled according to the enclosed instruction, and alice hualice prepared a dress up game.
