REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL! • TWENTY YEARS OF KOMEDIA • This May, Komedia celebrates its 20th birthday and has reasons to be cheerful! Since opening its first venue in 1994, Komedia now flourishes as an independent arts organisation with venues in both Brighton and Bath. Komedia uses the profitable elements of its programme, comedy and music, to support cabaret, theatre, new talent and its international work. To celebrate in Bath we have an exciting programme coming up which includes a world premiere of Stars Over Stella Street during the Bath Comedy Festival; Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip are performing on our actual Birthday night; and to add an international flavour to the programme, we are flying Edinburgh Fringe sensations Red Bastard and Gamarjobat over from New York and Tokyo respectively. These are just some of your reason’s to be cheerful at Komedia Bath in 2014! To find out about these images and the first 20 years of Komedia, visit www.komedia.co.uk/brighton/20years
