Komedia Bath April - June 2019 Programme

Page 1

HELLO & WELCOME TO OUR APRIL - JUNE 2019 PROGRAMME! We’d like to thank Perry Harris for creating this brochure’s fantastic cover art, featuring the legendary AC/DC drummer Chris Slade. Chris will be performing a special one-off fundraising gig here at Komedia Bath in June, in aid of Dorothy House Hospice Care & Bath Rugby Foundation. Turn to page 15 for full details on the event! This quarter, we’re springing into action to bring you the very best in live entertainment and have once again teamed up with Bath Festivals and the Bath Comedy Festival. We’re particularly excited to be part of Party in the City 2019 where we’ll be hosting 2 stages of awesome live music from the likes of Make Friends, Bite the Buffalo, The Maitree Express and many more on Friday 17 May. More on this at page 12. As always, there are also plenty of other diverse events to explore, from spoken word to club nights, bingo and just about everything in-between, there’s something for everyone in these pages…! A little more about the artist…

Perry studied Fine Art following a move to Bath in the ‘80s. For the last 20 years he has worked as a stage scenery painter and an illustrator. Most of his work can be found on Pinterest under ‘uhperry’, the name he also uses for Twitter & Instagram.
