CEO CORNER
Once again, supporters
of reproductive freedom
proved that together, we are UNSTOPPABLE!
We are unstoppable despite

intense challenges. We

intimidation and harassment forced the PPINK health center there to close its doors.

But what inspires me is that no matter what obstacles we
encounter, our movement fights back harder. And every time our rights come under attack, more people say enough is enough.
For two years we have marched, rallied, and made ceaseless calls to Congress. In November, Hoosiers and Kentuckians took our biggest action yet—at the ballot box.
A record number of women ran for office in our communities. And on Election Day women, people of color, LGBTQ folks, and young people turned out to vote like never before. We’re fired up, and we’re not backing down. We will continue
to raise our voices through every attack on our rights. Through
every attempt to close our doors. Until our bodies and our rights are no longer on the line.
Thank you for standing with us.

Good Louisville, the Community Foundation of Louisville’s day of local giving! Grants are another important source of support for PPINK’s work. The Education Foundation of America awarded us $15,000 for a public education campaign to inform Hoosiers about how changes to the Supreme Court could block access to basic health care. We were also awarded a SECOND $50,000 grant from the Argosy Foundation in support of education and patient services at our Louisville and Lexington health centers. Thank you!

THANKFUL FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Marissa’s Story of Care Shortly after I graduated college, I was no longer eligible to be on my parents’ insurance. During that time, I turned to Planned Parenthood right here in Lexington. Since then, I have regularly used Planned Parenthood’s services. They have always made me feel safe and welcomed while providing me with quality, caring, and non-judgmental health care. Planned Parenthood has given me the confidence and autonomy to have control over my body. My clinicians always provide me the information I need to make decisions for myself without making me feel pressured or unable to ask my questions.
Planned Parenthood in Lexington doesn’t provide judgment, just comprehensive health care for all. Now I volunteer with Planned Parenthood, not only because I want to give back in any way I can to an organization that helped me, but also so that I can serve the Lexington community. As a volunteer, I am also able to talk to the people who represent me in our state government about how important Planned Parenthood is. Health care is deeply personal, and at Planned Parenthood, everyone I speak with makes me feel as though I have total autonomy. For that I am thankful for Planned Parenthood in Lexington. 4
