SECKMAN 2017 FOOTBALL
2016 IN REVIEW 2016 was about establishing the principles and values that this program will be based on moving forward. This installment was lead by our character and leadership development programs. The seniors took this and worked to establish the principles and values to the best of their abilities. I could not be more proud of the effort they put forth this season. On the field we, players and coaches, struggled a bit as new ways of coaching, different emphasises on technique, and new ways of developing our players were being put in place. Throughout it all our coaches and players rarely lost focus on making the "process" important and striving every week to improve on the previously week. We worked with our feeder programs to make our program more consistent across the board. This was started with our coaches and our players were involved with installing drills and techniques we teach at the high school level. This also allowed us to build a better relationships between our feeder program
and our school program. This winter we are planning on having a coaches clinic to further assist our feeder programs in our efforts to assist in our overall program development. We became highly involved in giving back to our community. We asked for a can food donation for attending our summer blue and gold game and also put together a thanksgiving meal for a Seckman family in need. We plan on hostinig a football camp for disabled students over the summer along with other summer camps for our feeder program. These will be free of charge. I could not be more proud of our players and coaches as we strive to make our program a fantastic representation of Seckman High School and the Fox School District. We will continue to strive to putting forth maximal effort, being accountable, and being knowledgeable.
The nice thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side. - Margaret Carty

Visiting the Arnold Farmer’s Market at Arnold City Park between spring and early fall is always an ideal place to get some of the freshest produce, meats, honey, and flowers in town. The Farmers Market serves as a place for local vendors to get together and enjoy the “fruits of their labor” by entering their products into several contests and festivals. Such as, apple and peach dessert competitions, a strawberry festival, salsa contest, and the heaviest tomato contest. Arnold is a city determined to keep numerous recreation opportunities available for their residents. Residents enjoy the Arnold Recreation Center for a swim or playing a round at Pomme Creek Golf Course. Arnold runs and maintains multiple city parks, dog parks, nature areas, and even an archery park, giving residents plenty reason to get outside and enjoy what there is to offer.
