WREC Climbing Gym 530-898-5867 www.aschico.com/wrec/climbingwall The WREC Climbing Gym boasts a 36-foot wall with 3,000 square feet of climbing space and 50 routes from beginner to expert. All climbing gear (harness, chalk, and climbing shoes) is free, and no experience is necessary. If you are just starting to climb or have some experience, we offer classes that can help you develop and hone your skills. Trainings are designed to teach indoor climbers safe and efficient practices that will enable them to start climbing outside. Stop by or call to see a list of trainings and dates.
Backcountry Yurt A yurt is a canvas and wood hut designed to protect campers from the elements, complete with a woodstove to keep you warm at night. Our yurt is located in the backcountry of Lassen National Forest near Butte Meadows, with access to great outdoor recreation. It is available to rent for $50 per night.
