“We would like to point out that children, though naturally endowed with the art of making friends and acting as teachers among their peers, do not refine this art by taking suggestions from manuals or out of thin air. They take and interpret models from adults, and even more so when these adults are capable of working, discussing, thinking and researching together. Children’s observation and deduction skills enable them to judge the consistency and inconsistency of adult behavior. The cooperation between teachers and families is another essential element that strenghtens and facilitates cooperation between children.” Loris Malaguzzi
