How to Prepare Popcorn Ingredients: 1/2 cup popcorn kernels 1/4 cup oil 1 big sauce pan with lid 1/4 cup melted butter Salt or season salt to taste

Preparation: Pour the oil into your sauce pan. Turn on stove to a medium flame. Allow to heat for 1 minute. Add the popcorn kernels, put on the lid. Grab the handles of the pot with potholders and gently swirl the pot so that the kernels become thoroughly covered with the oil. Allow to sit until you hear a few popcorn kernels popping, then every so often you will grab the pot with by the handles and using your thumbs to keep the lid closed as you shake/swirl the pot a bit. Once the popping has decreased turn off the stove. (Note, if you wait for all popping to cease they will be a bit burnt.) Pour butter little by little on top as you stir the popcorn. Then shake in some salt or season salt as you stir the popcorn. Serve in a plastic bowl.

However, we have prepared a well-chosen program that our customers will surely appreciate and remember. Take for example, the Folkloric Ballet of Guatemala. It is not just only a dance show; the performers also feature the different typical, hand-made, and colorful costumes from all the regions. Enjoy seeing these skillful performers while they dance to the beat of our unique traditional music.

Costa Rica Entertainment is a big part of the plan when you are working with a conference or incentives group. After all, the idea is not just to get some work done, but also to celebrate the success that started the trip in the first place. And as we all know, entertainment is not limited to a great show, band, or DJ. There are many elements of production that should be considered and at IVI DMC² Costa Rica we take pride on our expertise in this matter. We select only the best vendors with proven quality and who strive to keep their eyes open for new trends, creative shows, décor, and technology. We know that each element unites to create the best final product and none are complete without the other. We know that everything is part of the experience. So for example, in a Latin theme production we include not only a salsa show, but lessons as well so everyone can participate. We also decorate the ballroom with tropical flowers and colors. We also coordinate with AV for colorful lighting and seamlessly flowing music. If your client has what may seem like a crazy idea, please share it with us! We would love to work together to fulfill your stakeholders’ vision. Our many satisfied clients testify to how well we are able to develop a unique production!

Now we are reaping the results of this sustained effort and we can proudly say that we have customers that are 100 percent satisfied with our performance. We can provide an excellent service for small groups of 20 or groups as large as 1,500 people.

We want to emphasize that by being thoroughly involved through all the stages of planning and delivery our personnel is able to provide a tailored program to the specific needs and budgets of the different clients that we work with. This allows us to end up with very satisfied customers with our quality of service and innovative approach that put us ahead of our competitors. A unique product is what we offer with our competitive and creative staff. We work with suppliers that allow us to offer an unforgettable experience of Panama, its history, and its people. In the entertainment department the richness and variety of the Panamanian culture and tradition is unquestionable. We have selected from this abundant supply the best in their respective fields. You want it, you got it: dance groups, musical groups, bands, calypso, jazz, tropical, reggae, and cumbia. Or, a rock & roll group in either English or Spanish can be assigned for thematic parties from various decades. The successful world renowned International Jazz Festival is a good measure of the quality and diversity of the entertainment available for us to offer you as our customer. This coupled with excellent stage design and state-of-the-art musical and lighting equipment are a sure bet for organizing successful evening parties formal or thematic.

In short, we can say that we have many options and this variety allows us to offer a unique evening, either in a hotel (in Panama hotels and DMC work closely and we support each other) or in any location where the client sees fit for the event. Our staff will be ready to offer advice upon the conveniences of any particular venue the client chooses.

Dr. Travel’s:The Hidden City Sometimes you can get to where you want to go by pretending to fly somewhere else—hidden city ticketing. Say you want to go from Seattle to Dallas, but the fare is exorbitant. But a much lower promotional fare is on flights from Seattle to Miami with one stop in Dallas. You book that one and get off the plane in Dallas. (Naturally, you can’t check any bags or they will got to Miami.) One major problem with hidden-city ticketing is it’s against airline regulations (so most travel agents won’t do it, you must book it yourself). The other difficulty is you can’t buy a round-trip ticket. The airline will cancel the return segment. But you can buy another one-way ticket back to the original city. If you do, route it differently than the first ticket and do so only after the first ticket has been used. Or use another carrier. Airlines do not share ticketing information. Do not use your frequent flyer number when you book the tickets. Offer that number only when you check-in at the airport. Some people are using this, as one magazine called it, “tricky-ticketing-tactic” to save money. But beware, it’s risky. (Taken from page 76) James Feldman, (a.k.a.
