NEW FAVRETTO SERIES MR MORE PRODUCTVITY, MORE FLEXIBILITY The rotary table grinding machine for excellent finishes The Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto enters in a new generation of vertical grinding machine with single column, horizontal head and rotary table. MR series is the optimal solution for all grinders that intend to maximize high speed of execution and excellent finishes. The new surface grinding machine with rotary table series MR reply with the maximum efficiency at the production needs of global markets, grinds plane and profile of particular complex workpieces of small, medium and large dimensions. The Modulo MR grinds diameters of 900 and 1400 mm and guarantee a wide range of capacity work with heights of 450 and 600 mm and a maximum load of the rotary table (with magnetic chuck) up to 800 kg. The new series MR Favretto is suited for a Precision Mechanical sector, Molds, Tools producers, Automotive, etc. Thanks to the wide range of accessories, it allows you to identify the best manufacturing methods, ensuring the satisfaction of the most demanding customers. Multibrand synergies Designed and developed with the most modern technologies, by exploiting experiences and synergies of the designers of IMT Group, the new MR series of Favretto combines incredibly short cycle times with a fast re-tooling process, which is the fruit of upgrades introduced in the new and intuitive software. The new Modulo MR used shared technological platforms born out of the team work of the IMT Grinding Group brands (the same way as automotive groups who develop modular platforms for entire range of vehicles), and is focused on manufacturing excellence without compromise, ensuring an ideal price to quality ratio, high technological standards and short delivery times. Guaranted success Improved surfaces, improved dimensional tolerances, improved repeatability. With the new bed in a stabilised iron casting, the column with vertical guides for the sliding of the crossbeam on antifriction material, with the rotation of the rotary table obtained by the hydraulic motor, with sliding guides, or alternatively by a hydrostatic table, the new Modulo series MR of Favretto integrates in a single machine more power and more performance. Minimized set-ups The new interactive operator interface “Tool Operator Package”, installed on the digital SIEMENS control system simplifies the part program creation process, simplifying and necessary adjustments. Moreover, all the accessories of the series are directly managed by the interface. The new MR series To limit consumptions means to achieve eco-sustainability or safeguard the environment. With the ENERGY SAVING system, to lower electrical energy consumptions, all you have to do is just “ press a button”. But replacing a filter at the right moment is also important, and with the Maintenance Operator Package, it’s easier. This is the philosophy of the new Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto.
THE UNITS BED The bed of the new Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto is a single structure made of stabilized iron casting, with lateral plane of column support and the sliding unit of the rotary table. Equipped with peripheral grooves to collect the coolant, developed using the most modern 3D solid parametric modelling technology and checked with FEM analysis, ensuring an excellent dimensional quality of the workpieces.
ROTARY TABLE The rotary table of the new Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto can be equipped with permanent magnetic chuck, self centering chuck or arranged to be clamped one or more workpieces. The rotating of the table takes place on sliding track in an oil bath, with carryover of antifriction material scraped for the precision coupling. The command is achieved by hydraulic motor with motion transmission through belts.
VERTICAL COLUMN The column of the new Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto is made on vertical guides for the sliding of the crossbeam on antifriction material. The registration is achieved by tapered gibs. The axis, equipped with precision recirculating ball screws, is interlock by AC Brushless motor and controlled in speed and position by absolute encoder.
CROSSBEAM WHEELHEAD The crossbeam of the new Modulo series MR of IMT Favretto, mounted on vertical slide, is equipped with horizontal guides for the cross sliding of the motor-head on antifriction material. The registration is achieved by tapered gibs. The axis, equipped with precision recirculating ball screws, is interlock by AC Brushless motor and controlled in speed and position by absolute encoder.
