ACADEMICS The hallmark of an IHS education is a roll-up-yoursleeves learning approach that takes you from our campus to making a real impact in the community. IHS faculty members don’t simply teach what they know, they shape what is known, and inspire and empower their students to do the same.

STUDENT LIFE Immaculate High School offers more than just books. Students have an opportunity to express themselves and excel in campus ministry, athletics, the arts and more. By participating in clubs and activities, students develop skills such as leadership, collaboration, responsibility and self-discipline. Students eagerly become involved in at least one extra-curricular activity.

Pope Francis advises us to “be the first to bring good and respond to the God of love”. Campus Ministry offers students many opportunities to give service whether it be at the Morning Glory, John Paul II Center, the Midnight Run program, Habitat for Humanity and Rake ’n Bake days in local communities. Each service opportunity is filled to capacity with students.

I love how all the teachers are there to help and assist you if you are having any trouble or don’t understand anything; they are always there for you. My goal here at IHS is to develop myself in any way that I can so I will be prepared for college and the rest of my life.

My favorite class was Chorus because I love singing and was able to have a solo at two concerts this year. My advice to incoming freshman and transfer students would be to not be shy and try to make friends as soon as you get to Immaculate. You’re bound to find people that you click with and you’ll make lasting friendships.

I am grateful for this valuable opportunity of getting to know more about computer technology -- that is one of my favorite parts about attending Immaculate.

The spring musicals are wonderful experiences I will never forget because of the special bond you create with your fellow cast members, and put on a beautiful show that makes a gymnasium turn into a magical auditorium. Future students at IHS... be open to new things, seek opportunities that put you out of your comfort zone, because these unfamiliar doors can lead you to find your true self and become the best person you can be.

My favorite experience at immaculate is hands down, definitely the musical. I never got sick of it, I would always look forward to rehearsals and practicing. I also made so many new friends from the musical which makes my life at immaculate even better.

My favorite experiences have been with the field hockey team. Every girl on the team is like a sister to me and I wouldn’t trade that for the world. Playing sports or doing extra curricular activities help you form bonds outside of the classroom. Look forward to your time at Immaculate and don’t be afraid. The tight knit family community at Immaculate makes everyone feel at home.

In all my years, my favorite experience has been with the Immaculate hockey team, playing for the state semi-final. I believe that the sports at Immaculate will create life-long memories you’ll never forget, just like I’ll always remember that semi-final game at Yale.

My favorite experience while attending Immaculate was being a part of the indoor track team family. We begin each season with a candlelit running tribute honoring the memory of the twenty-six angels of Sandy Hook. This moving experience unites us as a team; as brothers and sisters committed to working together and supporting each other. Last season this special bond led us to both a conference and state championship.
