Clubs and Activities

Hours of community service were perfomed by students last year

OUR MISSION In the Roman Catholic tradition, Immaculate High School fosters the development of the whole student by nurturing individual spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical and social growth through an academically rigorous college preparatory curriculum that encourages respect, responsibility, reverence, creativity and leadership.

ACADEMICS The hallmark of an IHS education is a roll-up-your-sleeves learning approach that takes you from our campus to making a real impact in the community. IHS faculty members don’t simply teach what they know, they shape what is known, and inspire and empower their students to do the same.

FINE ARTS Nearly all IHS students participate in at least one or more visual arts or performing arts experiences during their four years at Immaculate. The Fine Arts faculty is dedicated to encouraging each student to use and develop his or her talents to their personal best. Often unexpectedly gratifying results occur as the individual or group stretches to prepare and present amazing art works, music and theater.

SPIRITUAL LIFE Immaculate students grow through sacramental, social and service activities. They also build a community whose members partake of and appreciate their Catholic faith as well as respect and care for each other, especially those in need. We pray together, have fun together and work for others together.

ATHLETICS At Immaculate, both the experienced athlete and the first time player can explore and develop their skills. Our coaches help each student find their niche in a new sport or to further excel in a familiar one.

STUDENT LIFE Immaculate High School offers more than just books. Students have an opportunity to express themselves and excel in campus ministry, athletics, the arts and more. By participating in clubs and activities, students develop skills such as leadership, collaboration, responsibility and self-discipline. Students eagerly become involved in at least one extra-curricular activity.
