To convince the market that this is the “first and best� acreage to be offered for development in the Doreen/Mernda corridor.
Accept bid proposals from prospective purchasers on a conditional basis as planning aspects were still awaiting resolution by local council, and the client was anxious to book a sale price before these issues were resolved. Two non-conforming tenders were received both at unacceptable prices and unsuitable conditions. Both parties were asked to resubmit after certain concessions were made with regard to the contractual obligations. The Sunland Corporation were ultimately successful with a winning tender of $5.8 million.
