ienvenidos a Jerez, Capital Mundial del Motociclismo. Quisiera aprovechar esta oportunidad que nos ofrece la gran familia de HACE, a través de esta magnífica publicación, un escaparate perfecto de Jerez y sus grandes atractivos, para invitarles a disfrutar de esta ciudad, única en el mundo, que este año celebra ser la primera Capital Mundial de las dos ruedas. Tras el nombramiento que le ha otorgado la FIM a la ciudad y después del reconocimiento de este evento de interés público por parte del Gobierno de la Nación, se abre una oportunidad única para Jerez y los jerezanos a través de la Capital, que sin duda se ha convertido en una herramienta para generar riqueza y empleo en nuestra ciudad. Una Capital que ya ha empezado a dejar beneficios para Jerez a través del amplio calendario de pruebas internacionales que venimos desarrollando, especialmente en el mes de mayo, en el que la ciudad ha sido sede de los mundiales de Enduro y Freestyle, además del Gran Premio de España de Motociclismo. Pero estamos ante un evento más que deportivo, Jerez Capital Mundial del Motociclismo, es un proyecto comercial, turístico, empresarial, un proyecto de ciudad con el que en definitiva pretendemos la promoción internacional de Jerez. Trazados los objetivos de la Capital Mun-

dial del Motociclismo en el plan director del evento, se ha constituido la comisión interadministrativa, que velará por su desarrollo y se han cerrado los primeros convenios con instituciones y empresas que permitirán poner en pie nuevas iniciativas de interés para la ciudad, como la creación de un vivero de empresas del motor en el circuito, la remodelación de la Torre Tío Pepe, así como diversas acciones encaminadas a la promoción del evento. En definitiva, el camino de lo que será el próximo trienio está iniciado, confiando en el potencial y en los buenos resultados de esta inversión en la que Jerez solo tiene que ganar. Les reitero mi bienvenida a la Capital del Mundo de las motos y les deseo una feliz estancia. Welcome to Jerez, Worldwide Capital of Motorcycling. I would like to use this opportunity offered by the great family HACE in this excellent publication, which is a perfect showcase of Jerez and its great appeals, to invite you to enjoy this one of a kind city that, this year, is celebrating being the first Worldwide Capital of the two wheels. After the nomination granted by the FIM to this city and the recognition of this event of public interest by the Spanish Government, it appears a unique opportunity for Jerez and its people thanks to the Capital status, which has certainly become a tool

to generate wealth and employment in our city. A Capital that has already started to turn a profit for Jerez thanks to the wide calendar of international races that we have being carrying out, especially in May, when the city has been the seat of the Enduro and Freestyle World Championships, besides the Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix. But we are not faced with just a sports event. Jerez Worldwide Capital of Motorcycling is a commercial, touristic, business project —a project for a city with which we intend, in short, to promote Jerez internationally. Once the goals of the Worldwide Capital of Motorcycling have been devised in the guiding plan of the event, it has been constituted the inter-administrative commission, which will take care of its development. Also, the first agreements with institutions and businesses have being sealed and these will allow some new interesting initiatives for the city to be gotten off the ground, like the creation of a motor business incubator in the circuit, the remodeling of the Tio Pepe tower, as well as some different actions aimed to the promotion of the event. To sum up, the path of what the next triennium will be has been initiated, trusting in the potential and good results of this investment in which Jerez only wins. I reiterate my welcome to the Worldwide Capital of Motorcycling and I wish you a good stay.

ONOCIDA como la catedral mundial del motociclismo, Jerez, su circuito de velocidad, se ha convertido en los últimos años en un referente internacional para las grandes citas del motor. Un protagonismo que, en poco más de una década, se ha ganado gracias a las excelentes condiciones de su trazado, el alto nivel de organización demostrado en cada una de las pruebas disputadas y, sobre todo, la confianza y el respaldo continuado de las grandes escuderías y pilotos del mundo del motor en sus diferentes modalidades. Escenario en sus primeros años de vida (1986/1997) del Mundial de Fórmula 1, en su trazado se vivió uno de los duelos más apasionantes que se recuerdan y que, en un apretado final (14 milésimas), tuvo como protagonistas a los ya míticos Ayrton Senna y Nigel Mansell. Histórico pulso que se resolvió en favor del piloto brasileño. En los últimos tiempos, pese a no tener presencia en el calendario del Mundial de Fórmula 1, el Circuito de Jerez ha continuado siendo escenario de referencia tanto

para los entrenamientos privados de las escuderías punteras como para los entrenamientos oficiales que organiza la FIA (Federación Internacional de Automovilismo). Sus excelentes instalaciones y las bondades de la climatología de la zona han contribuido de forma determinante a que Jerez siga disfrutando de la presencia de escuderías como Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, etc. y de pilotos de la talla mundial de Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso y Sebastian Vettel, entre otros muchos. No obstante, el Circuito de Jerez se ha ganado su condición de 'catedral' del motor gracias a su estrecha y continuada relación con el Campeonato del Mundo de Motociclismo, competición

de primer nivel que viene acogiendo desde que abriese sus puertas. Michael Doohan, Valentino Rossi, Sete Gibernau, Alex Crivillé, Sito Pons, Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Kevin Schwantz, Max Biaggi, Wayne Gadner y Marc Márquez son algunos de los ilustres del motociclismo que han emocionado a unos aficionados que, año tras año, peregrinan en gran número a Jerez en busca de espectáculo y de los atractivos culturales, gastronómicos, turísticos y de ocio que ofrece tanto Jerez como el conjunto de poblaciones de la provincia de Cádiz. No en vano, la cita de Jerez ha sido elegida en numerosas ocasiones por el propio paddock mundialista como la

mejor del calendario. Este año, una vez más, el Circuito de Jerez fue el encargado de dar la bienvenida a suelo europeo al Mundial de Motociclismo con la disputa del Gran Premio de España. Un evento que, además de en Jerez, se vivió con gran pasión y un excelente ambiente en poblaciones cercanas como El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, Chiclana, Sanlúcar de Barrameda y Rota, entre otras. Además de la gran cita mundialista, a lo largo de este 2015 el Circuito de Jerez también acogerá competiciones tan novedosas y espectaculares como la World GP Bike Legends. Esta competición, a disputar en las categorías de 125, 250 y 500 centímetros cúbicos, reunirá del 19 al 21 de junio en el trazado jerezano a más de 40 leyendas de la historia del motociclismo. Sin lugar a dudas, una cita de tintes históricos y obligada para los grandes amantes del motociclismo y que, además, estará abierta a motocicletas de gran premio de los años 60 y 70. Cabe destacar que, si bien el Circuito de Jerez es el epicentro indiscutible del mundo

del motor; la provincia de Cádiz cuenta a lo largo del año con otras competiciones que, aunque no tienen categoría internacional, son de un enorme atractivo y reúnen a miles de aficionados. Estos son los casos de las pruebas puntuables para el Andaluz de Rallyes que tienen lugar en las carreteras de Ubrique, Algar o Vejer de la Frontera o los slaloms provinciales que tienen como escenarios Conil, Chiclana de la Frontera y Cádiz, entre otras localidades. A prominence that has been earned in just over a decade thanks to the excellent conditions of its route, the high-level organization skills shown in every race competed and especially the continuous trust and backup given by the large motor-racing teams and drivers of the motor world in its different specialties. In its very first years of age (1986/1997), it was the scene for the Formula One World Championship. One of the most fascinating duels that can be remembered starred by the now legendary Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell, with a close end (14 thousandth), happened in its route. Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Gadner, Max Biaggi and Marc Márquez are some of the distinguished drivers of the motorcycle world who have thrilled their fans, those who every year travel in numerous groups to Jerez looking for spectacles and cultural, gastronomic, touristic and leisure attractions that Jerez and the group of villages of the Cadiz province offer. Not surprisingly, the Jerez event has been chosen several times by the worldwide paddock itself as the best date of the calendar. This year, one more time, the Jerez racing circuit was the one in charge of welcoming the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix to Europe with the Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix from the 1st to the 3rd of May. An event that was lived with a great passion and an excellent environment not just in Jerez but in near villages like El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz, Chiclana de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Rota, among others. Besides the worldwide appointment, the racing circuit of Jerez will also take some competitions in during 2015 such as the Spanish Speed Championship (30th and 31st of May) or the novel World GP Bike Legends. This competition, taking place in the categories of 125, 250 and 500 cubic centimeters, will bring together more than 40 legends of the history of motorcycling, from the 19th to the 21st of June. Clearly, a date with an historic touch, which will be mandatory for those great lovers of motorcycling and it will also be open to motorcycles of Grand Prix from the years 60 and 70. Además de escenario permanente del Mundial de Motociclismo, Jerez es trazado de pruebas y entrenos de la F-1, en los que se dan cita pilotos como Fernando Alonso y el equipo Mercedes. SCENARIO destacado del Mundial del Motociclismo, desde su apertura, el trazado jerezano ha visto rodar a las grandes figuras del motor. Pilotos de leyenda que han escrito sobre su asfalto algunas de las páginas más brillantes de la historia en las categorías de motociclismo y automovilismo. De hecho, fue aquí, el 17 de junio de 2007, cuando el actual dominador de la categoría reina del Mundial de Motociclismo, Marc Márquez, conquistó su primera victoria en el Campeonato de España de Velocidad. Un triunfo que supuso el descubrimiento de un piloto que, pese a su juventud, ya atesora cuatro entorchados mundiales y que ha protagonizado en Jerez algunas de esas carreras que permanecerán por siempre en la memoria de los aficionados. En este cuadro de honor de pilotos de leyenda tampoco puede faltar el que, para muchos, es el mejor piloto de todos los

tiempos, el italiano Valentino Rossi. Jerez ha sido testigo de algunas de sus carreras más espectaculares, actuaciones que le han valido para conquistar nueve victorias en este circuito, siete en la categoría reina. Asimismo, Jerez, pese a su fugaz relación con la competición de Fórmula 1, ha tenido el enorme privilegio de ver rodar al más laureado piloto del Mundial, Michael Schumacher. En la que fue la última prueba del Mundial del 97 y de la F-1 en Jerez, el Gran Premio de Europa, el alemán, protagonista de una polémica maniobra, perdió el título frente a Jacques Villeneuve. Asimismo, en el trazado de Jerez, escenario permanente para los entrenos oficiales de la F-1 en los que Fernando Alonso ha levantado pasiones, los aficionados también han visto rodar a históricos como el ya desaparecido Ayrton Senna o el campeón británico Nigel Mansell. In fact, it was here on the 17th June 2007 when Marc Marquez, the current leader of the premier class of the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix, won his first victory in the Spanish Speed Championship. A triumph that meant the discovery of a driver who, despite his youth, already has four worldwide entorchadosor championships and he has starred in Jerez some of those races that will remain in the memory of the enthusiasts of this sport.

In this honor roll of legendary drivers we cannot forget the Italian Valentin Rossi, who is the best driver of all times for many people. Jerez has witnessed some of his most amazing races, performances that allowed him to win nine victories in this circuit, seven in the premier class. Furthermore, despite its brief relationship with Formula One, Jerez was really privileged towatch the most honored driver of the championship, Michael Schumacher, rolling. The German driver, star of a controversial maneuver, lost the title against Jacques Villeneuve in the last race of the Championship of 1997 and the Formula One competition in Jerez (the European Motorcycle Grand Prix). Besides, in the route of Jerez, which is a permanent scene for the official trainings of Formula One where Fernando Alonso stirred up passions, enthusiasts also watched some historic drivers rolling, like the already gone Ayrton Senna or the British Nigel Mansell.

Jerez en 2015 es Capital Mundial del Motociclismo, un reconocimiento de la FIM que ha sido la llave para desarrollar un importante calendario de propuestas deportivas y de ocio que van a convertir esta ciudad, durante los próximos tres años, en referente para el turismo nacional y extranjero vinculado al motociclismo. El hecho de que a la celebración del GP de España hayamos sumado otras competiciones mundiales nos convierte en un destino de referencia para los amantes del deporte de las dos ruedas.Pero, además, Jerez Capital Mundial del Motociclismo es más que deporte, es un proyecto comercial, turístico y social, un proyecto de ciudad con el que estamos trabajando en consolidar nuestro circuito. La ciudad ha apostado decididamente por el motor, ¿hacia dónde va a caminar la oferta relacionada con este sector? El motor, especialmente el motociclismo, va a ser uno de los pilares en los que se sustente la importante oferta de eventos de Jerez. Vino, caballos y flamenco, han sido históricamente las principales bazas que ha jugado nuestra ciudad para darse a conocer en el mundo. Tras este reconocimiento, hemos visto la oportunidad y la necesidad de trabajar este segmento que podemos rentabilizar desde el punto de vista turístico porque ofrece muchas y nuevas oportunidades para abrir mercados. Por tanto nuestro calendario de eventos seguirá ofreciendo citas claves, de interés nacional e internacional, al tiempo que vamos a desarrollar este nuevo segmento vinculado al motociclismo con otros eventos que tendrán como escenarios el circuito y la ciudad. ¿Qué diferencia el destino Jerez del resto? Jerez es un destino único, singular, que reúne todos los requisitos para ser atractivo todo el año, con una oferta muy potente (patrimonio, vino, caballos, flamenco, etc.) para todos los públicos. by the FIM which has been the key to develop an important calendar of sports and leisure proposals that will turn this city into a reference for national and international tourism related to motorcycling for the next three years. The fact that we added other international competitions to the celebration of the Spanish Moto GP has turned us into a reference destination for those lovers of the sports with two wheels. But also, Jerez Worldwide Capital of Motorcycling is more than just sports: it is a commercial, touristic and social project —a project for a city with which we are working on to strengthen our circuit. The city has clearly bet on the motor world, where is it going to aim the offer related to this sector? The motor world, especially motorcycling, is going to be one of the bases where the important offer of events of Jerezholds up. Wine, horses and flamenco have been historically the main bet that our city has played to put itself on the spot worldwide. After that recognition, we have seen the opportunity and necessity of working on this sector, which we can make profitable from the point of view of tourism, because it offers many and new opportunities to open up somemarkets. For that reason, our calendar of events will keep offering key dates, national and internationally, at the same time that we are going to develop this new sector linked to motorcycling with other events which will have the circuit and the city as their stages. What makes Jerez different to the rest of destinations? Jerez is a unique and singular destination which gathers all the requirements to be appealing for the whole year, with a very powerful offer (heritage, wine, horses, flamenco, etc.) for all audiences.

urante las últimas décadas Jerez de la Frontera se ha convertido en uno de los grandes referentes mundiales para el motor; de forma muy particular para el motociclismo. En su circuito, que inició su idilio con las 'dos ruedas' en 1987, se han escrito muchas de las grandes páginas de oro de un deporte que cada año concentra a miles de aficionados de toda Europa para disfrutar de un espectáculo que se vive con idéntica pasión tanto a pie de trazado como en las calles de la ciudad y de otras tantas localidades de la provincia de Cádiz. Páginas y momentos inolvidables que tienen nombres propios y que no son otros que los de aquellos pilotos que aquí, en el Circuito de Jerez, y en tantos otros trazados del gran escenario mundial, han conquistado a los aficionados con su pilotaje, victorias, títulos y , no menos importante, carisma. Para rendir homenaje a estos grandes del motociclismo y a sus hazañas depotivas, el Ayuntamiento de Jerez, dentro de los eventos impulsados con motivo de la capitalidad

mundial otorgada por la FIM, ha creado el Paseo de la Fama del Motociclismo. En este espacio, localizado en el centro de la ciudad, la avenida Álvaro Domecq, un total de 40 pilotos para la historia contarán con una placa conmemorativa. De 30 kilos de peso, estas placas de bronce diseñadas por Nicolás Domecq servirán para recordar a grandes como Ángel Nieto, primero en ser homenajeado en el Paseo de la Fama, Giacomo Agostini, Valentino Rossi, Carlos Checa, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Márquez, Jorge Martínez Aspar, etc. For the last decades Jerez de la Frontera has become one of the big references worldwide for the motor world; and especially for motorcycling. In its racing circuit, that started its idyll with the “two wheels” in 1987, many great golden pages have been written about this sport that gathers thousands of enthusiastsevery year from Europe to enjoy an spectacle which is lived with so much passion, both at the route and the streets of the city and many others towns of the Cadiz province.

Unforgettable pages and moments that have proper names; the names of those drivers who captivated fanswith their driving, victories, titles, and last but not least, their charisma,here in the Jerez racing circuit and many other routes worldwide. As one of the events launched on the occasion of the global status as capital awarded by the FIM (the International Motorcycling Federation)the local government of Jerez has created the Walk of Fame of Motorcycling to pay tribute to those great drivers of motorcycling and their sportive feats. In this space placed in the city center, the Álvaro Domecq Avenue, a total of 40 historic drivers will have a commemorative plaque. These bronze plaques weigh 30 kg and they were designed by Nicolás Domecq. They will be useful to remember great drivers like Angel Nieto, the first one who was honored at the Walk of Fame, Giacomo Agostini, Valentino Rossi, Carlos Checa, Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Márquez, Jorge Martínez Aspar, etc.

casi tres décadas han pasado ya desde que el Circuito de Jerez abriese sus puertas a los mejores pilotos del mundo. Su trazado, escenario habitual de los test de Fórmula 1 y de los entrenos de la IRTA, ha sido testigo privilegiado de algunos de los episodios más brillantes del automovilismo y del motociclismo. Momentos que permanecen vivos en una de las instalaciones más recientes del trazado jerezano, el Museo del Motor. "Asomarse al Museo del Motor es como dar un paseo por la intensa y vibrante historia del Circuito de Jerez", señala Juan Baquero, director de la instalación. "El visitante tiene la oportunidad de, a través de un pequeño paseo por el 'circuito' (el recorrido emula el trazado), conocer lo mucho y bueno que ha pasado a lo largo de estos años en el Circuito de Jerez y quiénes han sido sus protagonistas". Así, una de las piezas más destacadas del Museo del Motor es el Williams-Honda que pilotó Nigel Mansell en 1986, con motivo de la celebración del primer Gran Premio de España de F-1 que acogió el Circuito de Jerez y en el que el brasileño Ayron Senna firmó una de las victorias más apretadas de la F-1 al imponerse al británico en la línea de meta por tan solo 0.014 milésimas.

Asimismo, el Museo del Motor, a escasos 7 kilómetros de nuestros establecimientos de Jerez, acoge tres piezas con un marcado carácter artístico, como son tres capós firmados por uno de los mayores genios de la historia del arte, Salvador Dalí. No menos destacadas son otras de las numerosas 'huellas' que el Museo del Circuito de Jerez, en su condición de 'catedral' del motociclismo, alberga. Algunas de ellas como las míticas Ossa de Santiago Herrero, la JJ Cobas o la Ducati de Carlos Checa, motos emblemáticas que marcaron una época y que, por tanto, son parte importante de un deporte que aquí, en Jerez de la Frontera, se vive de una forma muy apasionada y cuyo máximo exponente es el Gran Premio de Jerez de Motociclismo. Its route, the usual scene for the Formula One tests and the trainings of the IRTA, was a privileged witness of some of the most brilliant episodes of the car racing and motorcycling. En total, Cádiz cuenta con más de una veintena de campos de golf que, en un número importante, han sido diseñados, mimados y rematados de forma precisa por golfistas de la talla del desaparecido y ya mítico Severiano Ballesteros o del campeón aún en activo José María Olazábal. Escenarios para la práctica del golf que, en unos casos, se localizan inmersos en extensos y verdes pinares y, en otros, junto al mar, con unas vistas envidiables.

Lagos, bunkers, greenes e instalaciones proyectadas y cuidadas con el máximo esmero que se han ganado la confianza de los circuitos y competiciones más exigentes tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, lo que les ha valido para ser sedes de eventos deportivos de primera línea en los que se han dado cita golfistas de la talla de Nick Faldo, Tiger Woods, Colin Montgomerie, Jack Nicklaus, Sergio García o Severiano Ballesteros, entre otros muchos de los ilustres de este deporte. Sin lugar a dudas, uno de esos grandes escenarios referente a nivel mundial en la historia reciente del golf es el campo de Valderrama (San Roque), diseñado por Robert Trent Jones e inaugurado en 1985. ifícilmente la historia de la provincia de Cádiz podría entenderse sin la presencia del caballo, un majestuoso y mítico animal que, además de ser compañero fiel en las diversas y duras tareas del campo a lo largo de los siglos, ha sido y es objeto de devoción, culto y fiesta en esta tierra. Parte importante de los distintos paisajes que conforman la provincia, Jerez de la Frontera es el máximo exponente de una cultura que ha traspasado las fronteras y que se expresa de forma muy diferente, siendo su máximo referente la Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre. Escenario de uno de los espectáculos más sobresalientes y originales de cuantos existen en el mundo artístico del caballo, 'Cómo bailan los caballos andaluces', esta institución, a través de un amplio programa de actividades y visitas, permite conocer aspectos tan importantes como la selección de los caballos para la promoción, la formación de jinetes de Alta Escuela, la conservación y la promoción de la Doma Clásica y Vaquera. Asimismo, la Escuela, que a lo largo del año realiza numerosas exhibiciones en diversos países, acerca al visitante a las tradiciones y cultura de la tierra en estrecha

relación con el mundo del caballo. De igual forma, Jerez cuenta con los museos del Arte Ecuestre y del Enganche, en los que se ahonda aún más en las raíces de un arte, el ecuestre, que tiene en la calle un incomparable escenario lúdico y de promoción internacional, la Feria del Caballo. Fiesta que, cada año, se celebra a principios de mayo, después de la Feria de Sevilla. La costa también es escenario destacado de otro de los eventos de carácter internacional que habla de la importancia del caballo en esta tierra. Y es que, agosto tras agosto, fiel a una tradición que se remonta a 1845, la fina arena de la playa de Sanlúcar de Barrameda se convierte en un improvisado y apasionado hipódromo. Fruto de las competiciones informales que realizaban los vendedores de pescado para llegar los primeros a los mercados, las carreras de Sanlúcar son un auténtico acontecimiento social y deportivo y se componen de dos ciclos de tres días, reuniendo a miles de aficionados que, incluso, realizan apuestas. Al igual que ocurre en Sanlúcar, el caballo también es protagonista en gran parte de las playas de la provincia, en las que a lo largo del año distintos centros y escuelas

hípicas ofrecen la posibilidad de adentrarse en estos paraísos naturales de una forma diferente. This institution is the stage for one of the most outstanding and original shows that there are in the equestrianart world, 'How the Andalusian Horses Dance', and it allows, thanks to a wide program of activities and visits, to know some aspects as important as the selection and promotion of horses, the training of Haute École riders, the preservation and promotion of Classical and Country Dressage (DomaVaquera). Also, the School gets the visitor close to the traditions and culture of a land which is closely connected to the equestrian world and it celebrates many exhibitions in different countries during the whole year. Likewise, Jerez has the Museum of Equestrian Art and Carriage and the Horse Carriage Museum, where they explore the roots of the equestrian art, which has an incomparable, festive and internationally promotional stage in the street: the Horse

Fair (Feria del Caballo). A festivity that is celebrated every year at the beginning of May, after the Feria de Sevilla. The coast is also a renowned scenefor another international event which talks about the importance of horses in this land. Every August, keeping a tradition whose origins are in 1845, the fine sand of the beach of Sanlucar de Barrameda turns into a makeshift and passionate racecourse. As a result of the informal competitions that the fishmongers used to make to arrive first to the markets, races in Sanlucar are a real social and sports event, and it consists of two cycles of three days each, gathering together thousands of enthusiasts who even make bets. As in the case of Sanlucar, horses are also protagonists in a great part of the beaches of the province, where different equestrian centers and schools offer the possibility of going into these natural paradises in a different way during the whole year. Entendemos que deben de existir normas, leyes y regulaciones, pero deben de dar más facilidades a las empresas interesadas en explotar el deporte de la náutica, ya que nuestras playas y aguas son perfectas para realizar todo tipo de deporte acuático como wind-surf, kite-surf, esquí acuático y de todo tipo de barcos de vela. ¿Qué caracteriza al turista que acude a los establecimientos de HACE para pasar unas vacaciones en las que la práctica del deporte es un objetivo primordial? Nuestro cliente viene primero por el servicio tan cuidado y trato directo que damos y si lo puede combinar con el deporte, son las vacaciones perfectas. Cambia mucho el cliente de invierno-primavera-otoño, al cliente de verano. El primero es un cliente que le gusta salir del Hotel, practicar deporte durante el día y luego llegar al hotel para la cena; en cambio, al cliente de verano le gusta disfrutar de la piscina, de la playa, del sol y de los deportes acuáticos. A lo largo de estos años HACE ha realizado un gran esfuerzo en la modernización

de sus instalaciones, ¿qué mejoras en general presentan y, en particular, en el aspecto relacionado con la salud y el deporte? Hemos mejorado y modernizado mucho nuestras instalaciones, cada hotel de una manera diferente. En el Hotel Playa de la Luz por ejemplo tenemos una zona totalmente nueva donde pueden hacer deporte y al mismo tiempo relajarse y disfrutar del sol, nuestro Beach Club. Además en nuestros restaurantes estamos cuidando también la alimentación, trabajando con productos ecológicos, naturales, menos grasas saturadas, en definitiva, buenas y sanas vacaciones. ¿Es el deporte un sector de futuro y crecimiento para el turismo en general y el sector hotelero en particular? El cliente de hoy no es como el de antes, que solo venía a tomar el sol, ahora necesitan más servicios y entre ellos el deporte, los que más lo están reclamando son niños y adolescentes. What does characterize the tourist who goes to the HACE establishments to spend his holidays and his primordial goal is doing sports? Our customer comes first for the cared service and direct manner we have, and if he can combine this with sports, those are the perfect holidays. The customer who comes in winter-spring-autumn changes a lot in relation to the summer customers. The first one is a client who likes going outside the Hotel, doing sport during the day and then

arrives to the hotel for dinner. However, the summer customer like enjoying the swimming pool, beach, sun and water sports. During all these years HACE has made a great effort modernizing its facilities, what are the general improvements that they show, especially regarding the aspect related to health and sports? We have improved and modernized our facilities a lot, every hotel in a different way. In the Hotel Playa de la Luz for example we have a whole new area: our Beach Club, where they can do sport, and at the same time they can relax and enjoy the sun. Besides, we are also taking care of the nutrition at our restaurants, working with ecological and natural products, less saturated fat.In summary, good and healthy holidays. Are sports a sector for future and growth for the tourism in general and the hospitality sector in particular? Customers today are not like before when they came just for sunbathing. Now they need more services, including sports. Children and teenagers are the ones demanding it more.
