This session will look at many of the derailments that occur when someone rides the Health Care Career Train without a map. There will be an overview of multiple career opportunities in health and a map made available to the rider. Topics covered will include, but not be limited to, careers in Medicine, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Human Services, Occupational Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Medical Record Management and more.
Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 11:00pm to 1:00pm Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA) The increase in longevity and changes in the health care system has created an increased need for educated and skilled Nursing Assistants. Our CNA program is an excellent opportunity for you to acquire the occupational skills necessary to secure employment as a CNA. These jobs are ideal for people seeking flexible hours working in nursing homes, hospitals, doctors’ offices and health care facilities. Program includes: Anatomy & Physiology, Fundamentals of Patient Care and rotation in a residential health care facility. Books and materials not included in the tuition.
