AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2011) Started all 58 of Sacramento State’s games in his fourth year with the Green and Gold...made 43 starts at catcher, 12 at second base, one at third, one at short and one at designated hitter...hit leadoff in 32 games... tallied a team-high 38 runs on 50 hits with a team-best 18 doubles and 16 RBIs...recorded a team-high .406 onbase percentage after drawing 38 walks and being hit by 14 pitches...stole six bases...never went more than four games without getting a hit...third on the team with 12 multi-hit games and recorded two multi-RBI games...had a team-high nine game hitting streak from March 5 at UC Santa Barbara to March 18 at Cal State Northridge... recorded 10 runs in a four-game series at New Mexico State, including five runs on May 7 and four more on May 8...tallied three hits in three games. AS A JUNIOR (2010) Played in 16 games before suffering an injury...received a medical hardship for the season. AS A SOPHOMORE (2009) Made 51 starts at shortstop, missing three games during the season due to an ankle injury...hit .291 with four homers and 33 RBIs...posted a .378 on base percentage...successfully stole seven bases in seven chances...posted 14 multi-hit games and nine multiple RBI games...posted two home runs and 11 RBIs during conference play... registered a .944 fielding percentage for the season in 268 chances. AS A FRESHMAN (2008) Appeared in 17 contests during his freshman campaign, including six starts at shortstop...hit .276 with a double and two RBIs...collected four sacrifices on the season...appeared in five contests as a reliever late in the season... allowed 10 hits and six runs in 8.1 innings of work...struck out five while walking just one batter. HIGH SCHOOL A 2007 graduate of Artesia High School in Lakewood, Calif...was MVP of the Suburban League in 2007...played shortstop and pitched for the Pioneers and coach Michael Gaoghagan...was named second team all-Suburban League in 2005...earned team MVP honors in 2005 and 2007...was recipient of the President’s Award of Educational Excellence and the United States Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award.
