Agenda: Topic Welcome & Introductions Dan Sousa, Hesperia, welcomed the group to the city and began introductions around the room and on the phone. Project Review Roundtable 1. Review of current projects in process Samantha Dodero, SJVCEO, directed everyone’s attention to attachment #1 which has all projects listed. She had partners note that there is only one (1) project in the works that has been on the books for some time. Sandy Gabriel, SCE, will circle back with Barstow to check on the status. Adelanto Amy Olson, SCE, stated that the city has completed all streetlight work and will be receiving incentive and partnership credit before the end of the year. Tondalaya Goodwin, Adelanto, mentioned that she is trying to get her water folks to connect with SCE on water items. She is aware of some projects that have been Identified. Also, TG mentioned that the city is interested in participating in the Charge Ready Program. She is hoping to get more detail to take to her city manager on the opportunity. Barstow One (1) project was on the project listing. SG to circle back on the status. SD mentioned that she stopped in to try to catch Domingo. All parties will try to connect over call or email. Hesperia DS, Hesperia, mentioned that the city would like to pursue upgrading streetlights. DS also mentioned that the city would like to schedule pump testing for its water sights around town. City officials are aware that many will test below efficiency and would to identify projects from there. DS brought up that the city is interested in DI for this year. They have identified sights and sent those over to SD. Bill Rock, SCE, mentioned that DI will not be making a stop in the HDR territory this year. SD and CK will work on the back to exhaust all options to have them in the HDR area. Next Meeting: June 6, 2019, TBD


Victorville Arnold Villarreal mentioned that Jenele and Eddie were not able to make it to due a prior meeting. He mentioned that they are still interested in moving forward with JouleSmart but have a few questions that they would like to connect on with SJVCEO. Outside of that they have put forward pumping projects with SBD but those were not accepted. They are working to ID new projects. Apple Valley There was no representation from the town at the meeting. All parties will try to connect over phone or email in the following week. After talking about the SBD options for HDR partners as well as the public partners requested SBD flyer/forms to sit by the permitting desks. The hope is that when residents/businesses come in for permits that they will take advantage of the SBD information. Partnership Updates 1. EUC Time Of Use Grant SD, SJVCEO, reviewed that the SJVCEO has funding for outreach efforts on the time of use changes coming to the state. We hope to promote information at events as well as social media and other platforms. Sarah Farell, SJVCEO, stated that the SJVCEO was also awarded a grant through SCE to promote SCE specific time of use changes. Will that collateral is available we will make sure to share. 2.

Benchmarking Update SF, SJVCEO, gave a brief update on benchmarking. Much of the process is complete. She is still awaiting data/information for a few partners: Barstow and Hesperia. The hope is to have all SP items wrapped up in summer of 2019.

Public Safety Updates from IOU’s Amy Olson, SCE, went over the wildfire mitigation items that SCE has in the works. All information is online and there are printable handouts that partners can access and have on hand for the public. One item that was stressed is make sure SCE has the current EOS contacts for the cities. When an emergency/fire happens, they want to make sure they get ahold of the correct group of people. SCE has a current pilot for emergency islands. The program may be completely subscribed, but if partners are interested in information AO, SCE, can send it over. Wrap Up Meeting review: action items, next steps, resources available Other Business: partner updates; upcoming events; etc. AO, SCE, let the group know that the EV fleet ready program will be rolling out sometime in May if partners are interested. She will make sure to forward all details as they are available. SD, SJVCEO, stated that SEEC will be the held the end of June 6/26-6/27 in Long Beach. She hopes more partners can make it as the event is nearby. Also, the partnership will be able to provide coverage of some travel expenses from the IOU’s.
