Troops may rent outdoor equipment from Dorr Avenue, our Equipment Center. The Equipment Center has equipment for camping and outdoor games, as well as program kits. Our equipment center operates for Nation’s Capital Girl Scout members only. Equipment cannot be rented by non-Nation’s Capital Girl Scout groups/ individuals, even if they are accompanying your troop. Equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are rental forms based on the type of equipment being requested; download the forms below from www.gscnc.org, type the form name into the search bar.
Camping Equipment Rental Form This form is used for a majority of outdoor equipment. Once completed, email the form to the Dorr Avenue equipment center at dorravenue@gscnc.org or submit online no earlier than three months prior to the month you wish to use the equipment and no later than three weeks prior to the date requested. Refunds for equipment will be given only if written cancellation is received in the Council office at least three weeks prior to reserved date.
