ISSUE / 5

EDITORS LETTER Its that time of the year where religion takes the center stage. This issue is devoted to religion, inspired by the secrets that are covered and no one can uncover as well as the purity and the darkness around this distinct theme. We created a mood around this inspiration and created a theme that we injected a dose of our esthetic into it.

GLOOM

Looking through the gloom a dark palette was formed, the theme allowed us to find pieces that are unique and weather appropriate. Lighter materials characterized by their futility mixed with the japanese shapes and dark prints.

PURITY

Purity could be considered as one of the religious elements, as a result the palette becomes lighter with nudes and whites. The element of reveal is exposed creating a darker mood. The elements of Fluidity and draping add on to the fragility of purity.

OPPRESSION The oppression that environing the history of our religion influenced our story. The theme becomes darker and strict with fetish elements and stiff materials mixed with transparencies and graphic lines.

EFIERI LUSH Π.X EFIERI + LUSH two local brands that collaborated and creating a pop-up shop at Π.Χ space. Two black and white collections that make sense together, Lash’s minimalistic shapes in contrast with the fetishistic and sharp collection of EFIERI created a ‘harmonious’ balance. The space was divided in two, with abstract lines shaping triangles on the ceiling and holding the rales mated with the art installation featured as the centerpiece of the space by Andreas Petrou.
