EDITORS LETTER OBSESSION, an emotion that we all understand and relate to. We are obsessing over materialistic elements and ideas which was the starting point of this issue. We have selected the trends we are obsessed with the most and the objects we are obsessing with on a collectors level. Even our obsession with art is associated from the pieces we are drawn to and are visually appealing to us. Our obsession with abandoned locations emerges through our editorial shoots, a fact that creates a cohesive mood threw-out. Our fashion clips have the same theme in a more evident way. GRADATION BLACK AND WHITE is the biggest trend of the season, but we wanted to utilize this trend in a different way rather than thick graphic lines. We have decided to present this trend as a gradient from black to white. The fabrics are a key factor for the black and white trend. Spring’s softer fabrics mixed with new age materials construct a unique look.

FASCINATION This season is not just monochromatic, we also saw vibrant fabrics, miss matched materials and embroidery, this miss matched ‘chaos’ was the catalyst of our obsession. Jewel tones on shiny materials create a perfect combination where this kind of excess is refreshing, since the minimalistic trends are all over the place for the last 3 years.

OBSESSION Our obsession with dark tones and unique menswear silhouettes that are obvious in our menswear photo shoots derives from the distinctive choices that we have been presented in menswear runways. Our obsession is triggered every time we see a kilt on a menswear runway and we are lusting over the voluminous shapes that dictate the runways.
