Orkney’s landscapes and seascapes are truly inspirational – beautiful green stretches of fields strikingly set against dramatic seas, sparkling beaches and towering cliffs. The endless feast for the eyes continues with the circle of standing stones known as the Ring of Brodgar and the pretty harbour of Stromness. Romantic Shetland is equally picturesque with its long clear shoreline, arches, caves and the historic capital Scalloway with its ruined castle and fascinating museum. On this wonderfully scenic holiday we enjoy relaxing stays in the Edinburgh area and Thurso before exploring the unique destinations of the Orkney and Shetland Isles aboard a stylish and comfortable Northlink Ferry.
