The objective of GAMA Youth Group (GYG) is to provide a platform for youths to serve the community, provide a social network, as well as the opportunity to develop leadership skills under the guidance of the GAMA group.
Eligibility In 6th grade or above Member of GAMA
Internship Positions available in various committeesPosition title: “Intern” Apply with filled Internship Application Form Volunteer benefits- predetermined by Committee and Youth Group Directors based on the event Will need permission from parents if under 18 years Must help out in 2 major events: SareGAMA, Picnic, or Onam (Christmas participation will count towards the next year)
Junior Director Based on number of volunteer hours achieved the previous year Must be an intern in a GAMA committee the first year Must help out in 2 major events: SareGAMA, Picnic, Onam (Christmas participation will count toward the next year)
GAMA Youth Group: Roles and Responsibilities
GYG will elect President and Vice President Will organize the youth volunteers for major events Will be an intern in a GAMA committee Term: 1 year Participate and organize Youth group for events sponsored by GAMA
Volunteer benefits Volunteer hours- predetermined by the Committee and Youth Group Directors based on the event. Receive letter/certificate at year end- for volunteer hours/participation
Additional GYG can develop a logo for their group Have youth social network activities Youth Committee Directors Youth Meetings, Liaison to GAMA committees, Animon Jose record keeping Communications, Volunteer Hours Rakesh Menon
