Coming Up... Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon The Chamber is seeking nominations for the Community Service Award. The deadline to turn in nominations is November 4. Also, we have three sponsorship opportunities available this year for the luncheon. The sponsorship deadline is October 28th. The Luncheon is Monday, November 21 at the Best Western. The Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development is pleased to announce the hiring of Kate Rees as their Communications Associate. Working for both KCAP and the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Kate will be in charge of both organizations’ online presence and will support our work programs as the chief designer and creator of marketing materials. Kate is a Monmouth College graduate with expertise in public relations and communications. Moving forward, any announcements you would like in our newsletters, on the website, or any other marketing you’d like to purchase from the Chamber should be directed to Kate. She can be contacted at krees@galesburg.org.
