Our new format of our magazine will be a delightful change, the very first printed issue in a smaller size for easy storage. We will bring many highlights to you the BRIDE with many options. In the future issues, we will visit places that may interest you for your wedding. In addition to VENUES in multiple states, as well as destination hot spots in the United States. It has been interesting to see how many new venues are opening for smaller weddings. As the editor of Foothills Times in the past, I look forward to highlighting these areas in future issues. Although Foothills Times will no longer be published, Wedding Inspirations will continue to be printed with a much broader scope for your enjoyment. The sky revolves and fills with dark abundant; blues, grays, and plays, perfectly displayed. Twisting the winds beneath the grass, I walk upon this evening's path. Along the race, you hold me still, within the trees, everything sits at will. Still, the moon reflects this evenings past, I am now one upon it’s rask. Secure your Financial Future You're back from the honeymoon, all the fanfare is just photos. -Vera Guthrie Now the real work starts. Start your life together financially secure. Sit down together, know the income of each other. Google budgets print one that is user friendly to you. Complete it truthfully, if you get mani pedis monthly put it on the budget. This budgeting should be done every month. Why? You may ask, well it's to meet goals. There are some rules of budgeting and saving. Rule number one and truly Covid should have taught everyone this, have six months of expenses in a savings account. Rule number two, do not spend more than 30% of your gross monthly income on housing that includes principle, interest, taxes, and insurance and utilities. I challenge you to go one further, make that 30% of your net income. Pay yourself first, always starting right now and put at least 10% of your gross income into savings to start building that emergency fund. Join a credit union that offers a vacation club, and Christmas club and have the money put into your three savings accounts via direct deposit. In this current economy think about renting, it's a sellers market you will pay more that the home is valued at, if you rent you avoid property taxes, upkeep, high homeowner's dues, and interest. Pack your lunches, make your coffee at home. I challenge you to save. Make an envelope and put money in it each pay period for eating out, if you want to go out and it has $100.00, go to a nice place, if it has $20.00 in it go to McDonalds. I challenge you to spend time cooking together. See who can save the most in a month. Secure your financial future so in forty years you can look back and say “whew we can retire early.” If you have a difficult time getting started, meet with a Financial coach a few times. It's not expensive and your return will cover what you pay them. Congratulations and remember; There are always two choices. Two paths to take. One is easy and it's only reward is that it's easy. I took the opportunity to get involved in this service industry after seeing how far wedding planning has advanced to meet every need of the future bride and groom in one central location. It has been really fascinating to see!

I have twin daughters, one of which is getting married in October, 2021. This is such an exciting time for our family, and it has given me a new appreciation for all the great information that is easily available to plan every detail for her big day! There is so much to think about and plan. Although this has always been the case for weddings, the convenience of now having everything available at a click of a mouse has been an invaluable part of this process.

My twins are nature lovers and spend quality time together each year visiting various National Parks. Their goal is to visit all 62 and they have made a big dent in that endeavor. This love for nature came into play as my daughter made the decision to have a destination wedding at a beautiful location in Grand Teton National Park. As a family, we will also visit Yellowstone National Park while we are there. Then, the fun began! My daughters are twins, therefore, they think very much alike. It has been a great bonding experience to get together and peruse the plethora of beautiful gowns, shoes, flowers, etc. to prepare for this event. Kayla's excitement increased as she chose fall hues of champagne, burgundy and sage for the bridal party attire which will then also be colors for her flowers and decorations. Then, the moment came when her eyes lit up as she 26 had found her perfect dress!

From this point, taking care of all logistical matters became the focus. Kayla found a wedding planner to assist her in obtaining a photographer in the area, finding a florist to get her perfect arrangement of desired wildflowers, locating a hair/makeup artist, a venue for the reception and much more. All aspects from lodging accommodations, plane tickets, rental cars, catering, event rentals, the wedding cake, music, beverages and much more have now been planned. Wedding invitations are now ready to go, and “save the date” cards have been sent. She is now working on the final details to be sure all guests are accommodated and have a list of tourist attractions they can visit while there to make this a relaxing vacation as well as her dream wedding! Having the pleasure to be a part of this journey with my daughter has been amazing (and shopping for my Mother of the Bride dress was great fun as well). It has heightened my enthusiasm for all that Wedding Inspirations Magazine has to offer future brides to assist in all facets of planning a memorable, perfect day!
