Young Adults in their 20s & 30s Tuesdays @ 7:00 PM in the Stage3 Auditorium

Our Cover Story... Coach Tony Santos (pictured middle): I was introduced to FCC in 1998 through the Spirit Newspaper. Although I was raised Catholic, I felt disconnected from God. The first Sunday I attended FCC, I was immediately drawn to the message. Pastor Bill was talking about “real life” situations and how God is relevant in everything we do. He touched my soul with a message of hope and acceptance. I yearned for more of the truth and would receive it on a weekly basis. I began to volunteer in the youth classrooms, helping 5-6 year old children learn about God’s love and how important each child is to God. I also joined a weekly men’s group that focused on being a positive, Godly head of the household and providing an environment of love for my family. Through the years, I have experienced pain through divorce, financial issues (including bankruptcy and foreclosure) the loss of loved ones and numerous court appearances. Through it all, I did not waver in my faith. It was

a genuine love for God and people that helped me persevere. Through these difficult seasons, FCC has always been there for me and my children, providing us with hope and counseling. By being positive and grateful for the things that I have, and forgiving those who have “wronged me”, my life has been transformed. I was baptized in 2011. Currently, I oversee the Christian Club at Westmont High School and I am the Head Football Coach at De Anza College where I participate in a daily prayer group at the end of each practice. I have one book on my desk, the Bible. It guides and educates my daily thoughts and actions. I’d encourage you to give FCC a try and see for yourself how God can transform you. Mala & Waylen (pictured left and right): Waylen and Mala are athletes on the DeAnza Football team. Since being under Coach Tony’s leadership, they’ve both started attending FCC and are important parts of FCC’s Encounter Young Adults group, serving on the Security team.
