Michigan blogger and movie stalker @thebananadoc snapped several photos of distinctly D.C.-esque vehicles during the filming of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in and around Detroit. Two of the above photos were taken on the set, and one was taken in the real Washington. Can you tell the real vehicles from the props? R.S.

To mark this past Sunday’s 200th anniversary of the burning of Washington by the Brits, the British embassy held a barbecue and served a White House-shaped cake. “Just sparklers this time!” the embassy gleefully tweeted with an image of candles atop the confection.
