WHAT’S IT LIKE TO celebrate ON THE WATER? Your cruise experience will vary slightly based on your boat and the time of day, but here’s generally what you can expect from your celebration.
1 GATHER YOUR CREW
Celebrating with lots of friends or family? Your party will be seated together so long as you have one person make the reservation, or reference the first reservation number when making additional orders. Afterward, you’ll receive an email with directions and tips on what to wear.
2 TICKET PICK-UP
Before boarding time, you can pick up your tickets at the booth near your boat.
3 BOARDING
As you board, your group will have a chance to take a professional photo together. The prints will be available for purchase later in the cruise or at the end. Just like a restaurant, a hostess will greet you and take you to your table.
4 WELCOME
Settle in, meet your server and get ready to cast off. If your cruise has a buffet, you can help yourself to the food at any time. If you’re enjoying a plated menu your server will take your order. Let them know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. Your server will check back with you throughout the cruise.
5 EXPLORE THE SHIP
No need to stay stuck in your seat. Feel free to explore the ship at any time – especially the rooftop lounges and outdoor spaces! Sip on a cocktail while relaxing on the outdoor deck, or snap a photo with the city’s skyline as your backdrop.
6 DANCE AWAY
Typically there’s a DJ on each deck, and during the cruise he or she will acknowledge all those celebrating something special like a birthday or anniversary. Feel free to submit your song requests, and keep an ear open for the couples’ dance.
7 SOMETHING SWEET
Finish off your cruise with a sweet dessert. Those celebrating with us are often treated to something extra sweet.

SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
Once the boat docks, no need to hurry off. Relax as you savor the last song, finish your dessert or get your boarding photo before our crew wishes you well.

WHAT’S TYPICALLY INCLUDED FOR MY SPECIAL CELEBRATION? A plated or buffet-style menu with multiple courses. DJ Entertainment with a special occasion shout-outs. A celebration dessert for the Guest of Honor. Coffee, tea and iced tea.
HOW CAN I AMP-UP MY SPECIAL OCCASION? Pre-purchase a bottle of champagne or a favorite wine to have waiting at your table. Upgrade your ticket with a bar package for each guest. Consider adding one of the enhancement packages and enjoy touches like a champagne toast, cake, hor d'oeuvres or drink tickets for each guest.
WHAT CAN I BRING ON TO THE SHIP? We want you to make the cruise your own! You’re welcome to bring small table decorations and party favors aboard. You can also bring gifts and a personalized birthday cake (as long as it doesn’t need to be stored in the fridge.)
WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE? Our dress code varies by ship. Odyssey and Elite are more formal, with cocktail or business casual attire suggested. Spirit is more casual.
WHAT IF I WANT MORE PRIVACY AND CUSTOMIZATION? While your party will always be seated together, with a traditional ticket you’ll be sharing your space with other groups. Private spaces and decks are available to rent out at an additional cost, or you may consider chartering private yacht Seaport Elite II. WITH AN EVENT ON ELITE, YOUR CRUISE TIME, ROUTE, DECORATIONS, ENTERTAINMENT AND MENU ARE CUSTOMIZABLE!
WHAT HAPPENS IN BAD WEATHER? Our fleet can cruise in rain, shine or snow all year round. Each deck is climate controlled, and the weather will not affect your cruise. In the case of severe weather, the ship will remain dockside for the length of the event.
