SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION: Courtney Kalashian welcomed the group and introductions were made. Business Items Review of Action Items from 05/14/15 CK started the meeting by going over the action items from the May meeting. She shared that the implementers have not yet been able to meet to address the Regional Analysis questions, and that SJVCEO would send out another Doodle poll request in an effort to schedule a call. Regarding item #2, CK shared that Samantha Dodero had complied a ‘menu of services’ for the SJVEWC partners and once she had a chance to review the document it would be shared out to the members. As for item #3 CK will be providing more information to Becky Estrella since Bob Decker has left the partnership. Once BE has more information SCG will be able to confirm if strategic plan funding supports the collaborative effort. Item #4 and #6 will be held over and discussed at the implementer’s only meeting in August. Report of Progress toward Goals Overall Goal Dave Christensen, PG&E started the conversation on the goals and efforts made by his Partnership, VIEW. He first introduced the DI contractor for the VIEW Partnership territory, Staples Energy. DC went over how he works with the DI contractor to meet the goals outlined in the DI contract. Staples sends a weekly report of projects and goal updates to make sure that everyone is staying in the loop to meet the

year end goal. DC stated that the Staples has met 35% of the year end goal to date and will be reaching 100% of goal by the close of the year. The total budget for the VIEW Partnership DI work is $500,000 and there is only $200,000 left for work for the rest of the year. DC then turned over the discussion to Mike Ward, Staples Energy, to go over their goals and efforts made in the VIEW territory. MW stated that with new measures and Title 24 changes closing sales has been more challenging. Past customer copays were between 0-20% now they are jumping as high as 2050% for projects. To date there have been 61 audits and only 23 customers actually signed and committed to doing EE projects. CK asked about how Staples would like to handle referrals from the Partnership staff in the future. MW stated that inputting a referral/lead into Energy Insight would be the best way. Then Staples and PG&E can track the project step by step. Energy Watch Goals MW from Staples stated that their goal is to focus on SMB customers. They would like to use the 40% left of the VIEW budget to reach these customers and push projects through the pipeline. Small Community Outreach DC shared that this will be the third year in putting together these outreach events in unserved areas. These events are so important since each utility has such limited funding for the MIDI and ESAP programs. When looking for areas to target in the past we have looked at areas with high poverty rates and low populations. In past events PG&E and the Partnerships have reached out to elected officials. With the help of elected officials community events are able to draw a larger crowd, since the information is coming from a trusted source. Some of the elected officials that the VIEW Partnership has worked with in the past are Supervisor Vander Poel (Tulare County) and Supervisor Neves (Kings County). When pulling together such a large crowd the supervisors and the Partnership try to bring out other important community services. Most residents don’t know what is available to them through the jurisdiction. Also, Michael DeSousa from SCE stated that SCE will be happily joining the effort in community outreach events in 2015. This year’s goal is to have at least one event in each of the eight counties, most occurring in September and October, “Energy Awareness Month”. The group reviewed the provided Census Data spreadsheet of all cities within each county with population, poverty rate, electricity provider and gas provider. CK stated that some areas have a 0% poverty rate since the areas are so small there is no census data available. Energy Watch Breakout Sessions Each Partnership broke off and discussed planes to target certain communities for their 2015 outreach events.

Conclude Next Meeting: Implementers only meeting TBD; All SJVCEW, Friday, September 4, 2015
