descriPtion of the employer Center for Law and Policy is an institute for the study of national and international legal and policy issues and to translate those studies into solutions, strategies, and decision making tools. The Center undertakes and facilitates research on various areas of local and global concern, and, collaborating with Pakistani and foreign law professors, judges, practitioners, and policy makers, offers a credible and prominent platform for rigorous and substantive analyses and deliberations. The Center also aims to play a meaningful part in improving the existing system of legal and policy education in Pakistan.

information about the traineeship Tasks The trainee will, in addition to performing some basic administrative responsibilities, assist in conducting research on one of the following topics: Rights of non-Muslims in Pakistan; Blasphemy law in Pakistan; Human rights issues in Pakistan; Challenges to law enforcement in Pakistan; Judicial reforms in Pakistan; Legal Education in Pakistan, and Islamic finance. In order to be selected for this traineeship, the trainee must be interested in any of the research topics mentioned above. Net salary Not paid. However, The Center for Law and Policy will provide each trainee with free shared accommodation, meals, daily pick and drop, and out-door medical. In other words, the stay in Lahore will be taken care of by the Center.
