descriPtion of the employer Prof. Dr. Franz C. Mayer is Chair of Public Law, European Law and Public International Law, Comparative Law, Law & Politics at the University of Bielefeld (Germany). His research interests are Public Law (in particular German and Comparative Constitutional Law); Europeanisation and Internationalisation of Public Law (Constitutional and Administrative Law); Immigration Law; Cyberspace Law; European integration (European Constitutional Law, EU Law and the EU political system); Public International Law, International Relations Comparative Law, as well as Law and Politics (in particular constitutional politics and European and international politics).
information about the traineeship Tasks The trainee will be required to fulfill supportive tasks concerning research and teaching activities (equivalent to German student research assistants). The trainee will be assigned individual reasearch tasks concerning European Law and/or Public International Law and will need to work together with other student assistants. The trainee will take part in a weekly administrative meeting and literature seminar. There may also be an opportunity to take part in thematic seminars with other students as well as field trips. Net salary Remuneration may be available if candidates meet the conditions for student employment at the University of Bielefeld, depending on availability of funds. A traineeship will only be offered during active semester times, i.e April - June and October - January.
