An incubator program for young designers, the mentorship will be offered by a selected group of designers, buyers, stylists, and other fashion professionals that are a part of the network that StyleWeek has created over the past ten seasons. Third year students will be nominated by the directors of their university fashion program to partake in this supplemental secondary education program. Students will receive six months of mentoring and at the culmination of their mentorship; each student will design a three look capsule collection based on the knowledge that they will gain. The capsule collection will serve as their entry into StyleWeek’s Seed student design competition where a panel of fashion industry notables, media and members of the StyleWeek community will judge the collections. Not only will the winner receive a monetary prize along with promotional support from the regional fashion community and StyleWeek from the mentorship program, but they will also be provided with their first experience of a professional trade runway show and the future to come.

The Arcade Providence will be completely transformed into a circus venue on the night of the event and student designs from the previous Seed student design competitions will be showcased. Guests will be entertained with circus games, music and entertainment. New Harvest Coffee and Spirits will be partnering with Seed for this event to host an open bar for 90 minutes.
