GREETINGS JIGA! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself- and how you became involved in the Psy Trance/Goa music scene ? Jiga, Born in Jerusalem, started as bass player in punk bands in TelAviv. I was programming a drum machine when our drummer left and got fascinated with synthesizers, especially analog ones like CS5 or Matrix1000. I didn’t know then that what I was doing is called Goa music. Jinno was born in Uruguay and came to Israel at age 4. He was making music since age of 16 experimenting with synthesizers in his parent storage room. We met in 1997 in and formed Analog Pussy. What inspires you the most as a psy artist ? Silence. For me it starts with nothingness. Sometimes I take the Moog synth, I don’t even touch it, just look at it. Then my hand goes on its own to the keys and something happens. When I wrote “Future” I was in my room with a bass, 3am, everyone sleeping, total silence around. Then I start playing B, D, G, E and the song just comes out of there. Why Analog pussy new album is releasing in these days after eight years of silence? We took a break because we separated as a couple in our privet life. Now we came to a point we can release the album and we built the live shows in a way that we play separately with guest musicians. So sometimes you will get a “Jiga Analog Pussy” show with a drummer or a Cellist, Or a “Jinno Analog Pussy” show with a singer or another musician, it keeps the show dynamic and changing. Do you have any other side projects that you are currently working on? I have a Trance girls band called “Xberg Baboons”, we are about to finish our 1st album. It will be a blend of Psytrance, rock and R&B. We opened Psytrance up, cut it from the belly, stripped it naked and added crazy things. 4

What countries have had a positive impact on your music career? Germany. There is a big tolerance and openness to new ideas here. I remember the first time we played “Psycho Punko” and “Future” on the Fullmoon festival. I was shaking before playing it because back then it was not acceptable to use guitars or vocals on a trance track. Everyone loved it and it encouraged and drove me even more to go for what I really like. Mexico, Brazil and Japan were also great places to play. Use one word to describe the overall essence of your sound. Eargasmic Please share your favorite moments in psytrance clubs, festivals, parties, etc. with our readers? We played in a big festival in Germany and 9 months later a young couple wrote us they have made a baby during our set and would like me to be the godmother of the child. I was of course happy with this!! What do you think the future holds for this specific genre of music? The future repeats the history. The scene goes up and down, comes to a saturation for a while, Goes underground, then some sub genre takes over, as long as people dance and want to do it together – it will always be there. Are there spiritual connections linked to your tracks? The spiritual connection is not a deliberate one. I don’t think about it. Sometimes people write me about their interpretation of a track and that they find a spiritual meaning inside it. Please share any words or message(s) I’m looking forward to play live around the world again :) By: Benny Jet Lag Psychedelic Goa Trance 5

Greetings Uriel! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself- and how you became involved in the Psy Trance/Goa music scene? My love for trance begun in my army service when I was listening in the radio the fist reactivated compilations. Then I discovered the world of electronic music most particularly when I bought my first TIP compilation (yellow) and I realized that this was the sound I was looking for (it was so intelligent) and I immediately fell in love with it. What inspired you to make your own music and how did you go about releasing your first album? I.. really wanted to do something involving multimedia which was “the thing. I immediately started saving money and begun on building up a studio. I met Micky right after that and all the rest is history. Concerning our first Wizzy Noise album / Cybermancy back then it had very very strong influences of the psy / techno german scene back then... 6

Tell us about your new album that releasing in these days - Wizzy Fusion - The Protectorate... The protectorate is an album more of a progressive / dark / side of Trance. Concerning the idea of The Protectorate it is a tribute to Constantine Collmer (www.ccollmer.com) a very under appreciated journalist / writer I particularly admire from one book of his (The Protectorate is a book of his). Do you have any other side projects that you are currently working on? Currently no... but we will put more effort in the future for better music and better production. It will not take long for that. What destinations (countries) have had a positive impact on your music career? Well the most positive impact is definitely Japan (by far) .. and other with no order of particular preference is Canada , Brazil ,Israel , Serbia to name but a few.

Use one word to describe the overall essence of your sound? Dimensional. Please share your favorite moments in psy trance clubs, festivals, parties, etc. with our readers? My favorite experience was in yokohama bay hall when I performed Cyclotron in summer of 2002 . I slammed it into the mix and the party went up like wildfire. It was one the most unforgettable experience of my life also one other party in Osaka a little bit after that. What do you think the future holds for this specific genre of music? Trance music passed through a lot evolution change and mutation. Things change way too fast in the world we live in and electronic music is not an exception. I think Trance music will have deep collective impact on human psyche as we approach the “Age of Aquarius.

Are there spiritual connections linked to your tracks? There is always a spiritual connection between music and its maker. I do music for the love of doing music nothing else. What is your most psychedelic moment in your experience with this music culture? Hmm my most psychedelic moment was a party in the dead sea summer of 2001. The second was a sun rise in the terrace of Yokohama bay hall as you could see the whole tokyo bay and Tokyo as a futuristic city far away. Please share any words or message(s) We are one tribe marching to the end of infinity. Expand your horizons and attain awareness.. By: Benny Jet Lag Psychedelic Goa Trance

Greetings Nathan! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself- and how you became involved in the Psy Trance/Goa music scene? Greetings Digital Oracle team! Way back in the early 90s in San Francisco area I stumbled across the birth of the Goa/Psy scene at secret underground warehouse and outdoor events. At the time my focus was mostly on making psychedelic visuals but I was hungry for the music too. What inspires you the most as a label manager ? Its all about the music! Collaborating with new and establi. shed artists to help them make a name for themselves and grow the catalog. Tell us please about Geomagnetic TV ... Geomagnetic started in 2001 as an audio/visual label with the intent of fusing the worlds of electronic music with the high-end visuals

movement. The label has become a label distribution group and expanded to over 20 sub-labels. Do you have any other side projects that you are currently working on? Personally when I find time to do some creative work aside from the label biz, I like to write and am working on a feature film script. What destinations (countries) have had a positive impact on your music career? There has been many great trips to places around the planet that inspire me to keep at it and know that there is really an incredible family all over the world of people who love this musical culture and are nurturing it all the time. Use one word to describe the overall essence of your sound? Inspirational! Please share your favorite moments in psytrance clubs, festivals, parties, etc. with our readers? Secret underground beach party renegades are still one of my favorite. Early Burning man events like 1996. Rocking with Simon/Hallucino Sphongle, Infected Mushroom and GMS. Raging in Guadalajara MX with 6000 freaks with me and Skazi rocking back to back sets…

What do you think the future holds for this specific genre of music? Its no doubt that the genre of Goa/Psytrance has stood the test of time. With early roots in 1991 or earlier we are already in 2 decades (20 years!) of this sound. Are there spiritual connections linked to your tracks? Interesting question… for sure each song that I work on and collaborate with others I try my best to infuse a sense of magic, mystery and inspiration. What is your most psychedelic moment in your experience with this music culture? That’s a really tough question… probably at Burning man 1998 at the community dance stage when I proposed to my darling wife inside a UFO (that was also the DJ booth). Please share any words or message(s) I really appreciate the growth, adventure, family, community, art, inspiration, boundless enthusiasm, energy for life and respect for nature, our planet and most of all each other. BOOM! You all rock!!! Keep following your Bliss everyone! By: Benny Jet Lag Psychedelic Goa Trance

What defines Shpongles style of music? Impossible...to define.....ambient/ electronic/psychedelic/mind probing/swaying and praying music. What drove you to choose the name SHPONGLE? I heard it in my head... in a field..in the rain..at a party...a voice said... Shpongle..and when I was asked if I was OK..I said I was”Shpongled”..the word came from GOD. Can you tell us a little bit about your past albums and how they’ve had an impact your current albums? Each album is a stairway on a ladder to infinity...each rung..an album..higher and higher we try to climb. Where does your musical inspiration come from whi-

le working in the studio ? The mystery of where inspiration comes... it just comes Which festival- in what country- (or which part of the world) has been your favorite on an energetic level so far? OZORA this year, New York City in October of this year.. Halloween. SHPONGLE,Any new special plans or upcoming projects? New Album under way... album no 5. Does any type of spiritual journey play a part in connection to your sound creations? Of course. Music is spiritual..Sound is God...and the way to feel Spiritual can come thru music being ones devotional path. In your many years of festivals, massive parties and extravagant events, what is your most psycadelic and memorable moment? The next one in Israel, should be the pinnacle. There have been so many, Brazil by waterfalls, Australia in the outback. Upstate New York outside in a storm with

25.000 souls dancing....in the rain....... What is the meaning and essence that Shpongle is trying to show/tell to your thousands of listeners from all over the world? LOVE..thru Music..Love your brothers and sisters...we are all one....come together..dance with hands upraised and a smile on your lips and a glow in your heart.. peace...joy.....and the feeling we are coming closer to our communal goals......onwards and upwards and sometimes sideways Today, the creation of Shpongles music is known as one of the leading groups in the Psycadelic Ambient genre, where do you plan to take your projects in the future days? UP UP and away, we have just started, the future is here, all aboard, there are no limits, we plan to play round the world..and get better all the time..we want to share the love and the bliss and the groove and the excitement of LIVE real music...... thank you for asking.....sorry its a bit brief.. but flying to Moscow in one hour to play... so a bit of a rush,,,,,,all Love to you... as ever always RajaRam.
