The 109 tram leaves from stop 129 – Beacon Cove/ Light Rail, at the end of Station Pier. It travels through Port Melbourne, past the Crown Entertainment Complex, and crosses the Yarra River before turning right into Collins Street. You can also return to Station Pier on the 109 tram, towards Port Melbourne.

Dressed in their distinctive red uniforms, City Ambassadors provide a mobile information service in the city with information on shopping, events and how to get around.

Free, two to four-hour walking orientation of the city, conducted by a trained volunteer. Orientations in English depart the Melbourne Visitor Centre at Federation Square daily at 9.30am. Phillip Island is famed for showing Australian wildlife in its natural habitat. It is home to a colony of little penguins that make their way from the sea up Summerland Beach to their burrows every day at dusk. Ideally your ship will be staying overnight or depart late at night to allow you to witness the penguin parade at dusk.

The Mornington Peninsula is dotted with historic seaside villages.
