Radio Frequency Coordination Policy Use of Radio Frequency (RF) Equipment by Visiting Productions and Prior Frequency Coordination 1 In an effort to ensure all events and users are able to avoid radio frequency (RF) interference with production and venue related RF equipment, it is required without exception that ALL RF transmission equipment to be brought into or onto venue property by any visiting production, except that listed in the “RF Transmission Equipment Exception List”, be coordinated with Harris Theater Audio Department at least (1) week prior to load in. 2 All visiting production’s RF transmission equipment shall comply with all pertinent Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules and regulations in effect at the time of load in and for the duration of the production. Harris Theater reserves the right to examine and test the visiting production’s RF transmission equipment at any time it is scheduled to be used on venue property to insure conformity with manufacturer’s performance specifications, compliance with FCC technical requirements, to determine interference potential, and/or to determine suspect interference. 3 Under no circumstances will the Harris Theater permit, authorize or otherwise tolerate the operation of any transmission equipment which has as its primary purpose to jam or otherwise restrict the operation of cellular/PCS or pager services in the frequency range of 698MHz - 2000MHz (2GHz). 4 Failure to coordinate the visiting production’s RF transmission equipment with the venue prior to load in may result in the delay of, or forbiddance to use the RF equipment. Harris Theater reserves the right to take such action as it believes reasonably necessary in order to prevent operation of said equipment until the coordination and/or interference issues can be resolved, or to secure the transmission equipment until it can be removed from the venue. 5 For the purposes of prior coordination, the visiting production shall provide the following detailed RF transmission equipment information to The Harris Theater Audio Department at least (1) week prior to load in: a) Contact name and mobile telephone number and/or e-mail address of individual responsible for visiting production’s RF transmission equipment. b) The manufacturer, model, specific frequency bandsplit(s) or pre-programmed frequencies (if applicable) of each piece of RF transmission equipment to be operated on venue property by the production. c) Quantities of each item in paragraph 4a. d) If RF transmission equipment is capable of variable RF power output, proposed power level for use on venue property must be indicated for each piece of RF transmission equipment. e) posed frequencies for use as a result of any pre-determined frequency band plan.
