The attention to detail in each year’s design is outstanding and it is easy to see why this coin has remained popular for over 30 years.

Australian 1oz Kookaburra 031498 | $39.95 The Australian Silver Kookaburra is one of the world’s most beautiful silver coins. Australian 1oz Koala 031817 | $39.95 This 2016 issue of the stunning Silver Australian Koala coin is composed of 1oz of .999 pure silver. Britannias contain a full ounce of fine silver making it the perfect coin for collectors and those looking for a special gift.

Canadian 1oz Silver Maple Leaf 031819 | $39.95 Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint and considered by some to be the most beautiful coins in the world. The $5 denomination is the highest among international silver coins, and its unique reverse proof finish makes it a wonderful piece.

Classic Gold – Liberty/Indian The Cornerstone of Any Great Coin Collection

Saint Gaudens $20 Double Eagle Introduced in 1907 is one of the favorites among collectors. Designed in collaboration with President Roosevelt and sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, depicting Lady Liberty striding forward on the obverse and a breathtaking eagle in flight on the reverse.

Liberty Head $5 One of the longest lasting denominations in United States history. Half eagles would go on to see almost continuous production from 1795 to 1929, and throughout their life, they would not only be used in trade, but – in preference to almost any other gold coin – would popularly be found in Christmas stockings! The obverse design features Liberty’s hair tied in a bun and secured by a string of beads. She wears a coronet in her hair inscribed with the word LIBERTY.

Liberty Head $20 Double Eagle Born in the era of the great California Gold Rush (1850-1866). The $20 Liberty Head was one of the largest circulating gold coins. The coins were produced at the Philadelphia Mint from 1850 through 1865, at the New Orleans mint from 1850 through 1861, and the San Francisco Mint from 1854 through 1866. The San Francisco coins of 1866 were the last of the design, and were also issued as part of the type 2 series, with the new motto IN GOD WE TRUST.

Liberty Head $2.5 Issued in 1840 through 1907 the Coronet quarter eagle was struck at five different mints: Philadelphia (no mint mark), Charlotte (C), Dahlonega (D), New Orleans (O), and San Francisco (S). Throughout this series of gold coins there are some with legendary status, as well as a large number of dates or mint marks with scarce issues.

Indian Head $10 Eagle Regular issued coins were struck at all three Mints (P, D, and S) from 1908 through 1911, and again in 1914. Only Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints struck eagles in 1912, 1913, and 1915. Only San Francisco Mint struck them in 1916 and 1920. The portrait of Liberty seen on coins of this type originally was designed by sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens as a bust of the Nike head used on New York City’s monument to General William T. Sherman. At the request of President Roosevelt, Saint-Gaudens adapted this splendid bust for the $10 piece with the addition of a Native American headdress.

Type III Indian Princess Gold Dollar First made its appearance in 1849 at a mere thirteen millimeters in diameter. This was more than one-fourth smaller than our present day Roosevelt dime! Which caused many American’s to grumble as losing a dollar back then represented losing a day’s pay. In 1856, the mint created the Type III $1 coin with a larger, flatter portrait. The coin features a female figure commonly described as an “Indian Princess.”

Indian Head $5 In January 1914 with Europe on the brink of war and the United States in the throes of a depression, Henry Ford initiated “the greatest revolution in the matter of rewards for its workers ever known to the industrial world.” He doubled his workers’ pay from $2.34 per day to a princely $5 and reduced their nine-hour workday to eight hours. The $5 gold piece suddenly became a coin of considerable clout. Even though it was only slightly larger than the then brand-new “Buffalo” nickel, it represented a full day’s pay – enough to buy a pair of trousers plus a pair of work boots. These Indian Head gold pieces are unlike any other coins produced before or since by Uncle Sam: their designs and inscriptions are sunken below the surface of the coins, rather than being raised.

Type I Liberty Head $1 Introduced in 1849 and the California gold rush provided the spark. During their six years of production, Type 1 gold dollars were struck at five different mints - Philadelphia (no mint mark), Charlotte (C), Dahlonega (D), New Orleans (O), and San Francisco (S) – but only the Philadelphia and Dahlonega mints issued them every year. San Francisco made them only in 1854, while Charlotte and New Orleans made them every year except 1854.

Kennedy Half Dollars The Kennedy half dollar, first minted in 1964, is the only fifty cent coin issued by the United States Mint. Intended as a memorial to the late President John F. Kennedy, it was authorized by Congress just over a month after his death. Despite the fact that these coins are still being struck, their circulation is extremely limited.

Ten Coin Set 23465 | $14.95 Standing Liberty Quarters These coins were struck by the U.S. Mint from 1916 to 1930 in .900 silver. The original design of the coin was the subject of some controversy. In 1925 the design was altered again when a depression was made in the pedestal on which Liberty stands and that bears the date.

Introduce Someone to the Hobby of Kings—Coin Collecting! Barber Dimes Barber or Liberty Head dimes were minted between 1892 and 1916 and are composed of .900 silver. They were designed by Charles E. Barber, Chief Engraver of the Mint, who also designed the twenty, five, and fifty-cent pieces. His initial B is at the end of the neck of the image of Liberty on the obverse. The dime featured a wreath of American agricultural products with the words “ONE DIME” in the center. 90% SILVER!

Ten Coin Set 22462 | $59.95 Mercury Dimes Although this coin is commonly called the “Mercury” dime, it is in fact the Winged Liberty Head dime and the figure on the obverse is a representation of Liberty. These coins have not been produced in over 60 years, and are harder to find with each passing day! Roosevelt Dimes Following his death in 1945, the dime was chosen to honor Franklin D Roosevelt. Ten Coin Set 22464 | $44.95

Buffalo Nickels Also known as the “Indian head” nickel, this coin is a copper nickel five cent piece struck by the U.S. Mint from 1913 to 1938. It was designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser. The image on the obverse of the coin is actually a composite of several Native Americans, and the bison on the reverse of the coin is rumored to have been modeled after Black Diamond, a resident of the Central Park Zoo in the early 1900’s.

Ten Coin Set 22465 | $14.95 Steel Pennies During WWII, the U.S. Government melted many coins for their use in the war effort, and this temporarily changed the way coins were minted. In 1943, the penny was made out of steel rather than copper. Each of these “steelies” feature a profile of President Abraham Lincoln on the obverse, and the legendary “wheat ears” design on the reverse. Coins are in average circulated condition.

Ten Coin Set 22467 | $24.95 Giant U.S. Coppers Cents and half cents were the first coins struck for circulation under the authority of the U.S. Government. American Mint Sets Made Exclusively for Collectors

Since 1947, the United States Mint has created annual sets of uncirculated coins for collectors known as Mint Sets. These popular sets provide collectors with one example of each coin issued for circulation. Amidst a few interruptions and several changes in format, this popular offering for collectors continues to the present day. Some sets are particularly noteworthy since they contain coins not issued for circulation. This includes the 1970 Mint Set, which includes the 1970 -D Kennedy Half, and later sets issued in 1973 and 1981 that include non-circulating dollar coins. The 1996 Mint Set included the 1996 -W Roosevelt Dime struck at the West Point Mint—a coin found only in the sets for the 50th anniversary of the coin series. From 2005 to present, the United States Mint has used a special satin finish for coins included in the annual Mint Set. Along with particularly low mintage, this adds another unique aspect to the sets.

1907 $5 Legal Tender Note (Woodchopper), Fine 11475 | $299.95 The last $5 “Horse Blanket” note, so named because of its large size. One of the most popular currency issues of all time. The intricately engraved vignette of “The Woodchopper” is the central feature of the note, which also shows an engraving of Andrew Jackson.

1917 $1 Legal Tender Note, VF 24436 | $199.95 The last large-sized legal tender bank note ever issued and referred to as a “Horseblanket” note. The obverse features Washington and a vignette of Columbus sighting America. The reverse shows a “sawhorse” design.

1914 $10 Federal Reserve Note, Fine 24437 | $159.95 This classic note is rarely seen and makes a great addition to any collection. The reverse features farming and industry and symbolizes American power and ingenuity. Includes a bold, blue Federal Reserve Bank seal on the front. These are part of the last series of large—size “Horseblanket” notes.

1923 $1 Silver Certificate, VF 22934 | $79.95 Silver Certificates once represented a key United States currency form and were backed by actual silver in the Federal Reserve. These notes were the first and only large-size notes with a standardized design for different types of the same denomination; this same concept would later be used on small-size notes.

1953 or 1963 $2 Red Seal Note, VG/VF 12770 | $14.95 Red Seal notes were backed only by the credit of the U.S. government, despite that fact that they were issued at a time when money was redeemable for gold or silver. These notes had a red treasury seal and red serial numbers. Red Seal notes were issued in $1, $2, $5 and $100 denominations.

1935 or 1957 $1 Silver Certificate, VG/VF 12772 | $9.95 A silver certificate is a type of U.S. paper money that was redeemable in silver. These notes, issued between 1928 and 1963, were printed in denominations of $1, $5 and $10. They are easy to spot because they have distinctive blue Treasury seals and blue serial numbers, which is why collectors often call them “blue seal notes” or “blue seals.”

SP70 First Strike Gold Mercury Dime 031914 | $499.95

The 2016 Mercury Dime Centennial Gold coin is in honor of the 100th anniversary of the very first Mercury Dimes, which were minted in 1916. The 2016 Mercury dime is an exact reproduction of the original design by Adolph A. Weinman. Each coin contains one-tenth troy ounce of 24-karat gold, symbolizing the coin’s denomination of one dime. This stunning coin is the first in a three coin series that commemorates the one hundred year anniversary of the release of the new designs of the Mercury Dime, Standing Liberty Quarter and Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1916. Here is the best news…We are offering this historic coin in a numbered limited edition of only 1916 coins, all in pristine grade of SP70 and certified as First Strike by ANACS!
