AGE 57 - OTSEGO, MI

AGE 42 - KALAMAZOO, MI

Jeffrey passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Otsego. Jeff was born December 14,1955 in Plainwell to Kenneth and Doris (Krogmann) Evink. He was a 1974 graduate of Otsego High School and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and listening to the radio. Surviving are his parents Kenneth Evink of SD, his mother, Doris Evink of FL; his children, Heather (Michael) Leveston of Battle Creek and Roy Evink of Allegan; 2 brothers, Roger (Sandy) Evink and Jerry Evink both of Otsego; a sister, Beth (Chris) Ronfeldt of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren and 3 nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service was held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Plainwell Church of Christ, with Preacher David Cushman officiating. Burial of ashes will be at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego at a later date.

Nancie passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Kalamazoo. She was born March 26, 1970 in Traverse City to Donald and Phyllis (Kobylczak) Rolinski. She earned her Bachelor degree from Michigan State University and for almost 20 years she was employed as an environmental specialist with Pfizer in Kalamazoo. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, flowers, knitting, crocheting and taking photos. On January 9, 2009 in Plainwell she married Rodney W. Brazee, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tucker VanDyke and Wyatt VanDyke, both of Kalamazoo; her mother, Phyllis Rolinski of Gaylord; a brother, Kevin (Caron) Rolinski of White Lake; a brother-in-law, Mark (Krista) Brazee of Alamo; and her mother-in-law, Jeanne Brazee of Alamo. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Jeffrey Rolinski; and her father-in-law, Leland Brazee. Friends may visit with Nancie’s family from 2 to 8 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Winkel Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1628 East G Ave., Parchment, Rev. Fr. Wieslaw Lipka celebrant. Cremation will follow. Contributions in memory of Nancie may be made to the Tucker and Wyatt VanDyke Education Fund, c/o P.O. Box 165, Otsego, MI 49078.

Garner TOWNE AGE 91 - PLAINWELL, MI

Garner Towne, age 91 of Plainwell passed away February 1, 2013. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Wesleyan Church; 1285 102nd Ave. Plainwell. Garner’s family includes his children: Douglas (Judy) Towne of Portland, MI and Dale (Beverly) Towne of Otsego, MI; sisters: Mary (John) Dockery, Marge (Tom) Dockery both of Garibaldi, OR; grandchildren: Tim, Curtis, Rachel, Samuel, Nora; one great grandchild: Daisy as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae; two brothers: Frank and Leland. Garner served his country proudly in the Army during WWII. He enjoyed traveling, walking at the gym with other seniors and his daily visits to Burger King. The family would like to thank the staff at the Dussia House in Otsego where Garner received exceptional care. Memorial donations can be made to Wings of Hope Hospice. The family is being served by Life Story Funeral Home Plainwell (685-5881)
