On-Campus Simulation & Skills Lab › Six exam tables, six hospital beds and four patient rooms. › Two simulation spaces with infant and adult high-fidelity mannequins to simulate real-world patient scenarios. › Fully-functioning operating room to immerse yourself in a simulated surgical setting. › Debriefing room to review your skills and techniques. › Population health room to complete group simulation events.

The Clarkson College Simulation and Skills Lab allows students to experience realistic, hands-on learning in an education-based environment. Throughout your courses, you’ll train in bedside care, procedures and treatments to prepare you well for your clinical and professional roles.

Community Health The Community Health program prepares students to address, sustain and improve the health needs of the communities in which they live and serve. You will learn how to provide direct client care inside and outside of the clinical setting while impacting the world around you. Program Options & Duration › Bachelor’s degree in Community Health: 12 semesters › Dual degree options: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or Radiography and Bachelor’s degree in Community Health › Certificate in Public Health, Gerontology, Human Services and Women’s Health: Three to four semesters

What Makes Our Program Different › Students with an Associate’s degree can earn their Bachelor’s degree in three semesters. › Hands-on experience gained during 135-hour fieldwork at an agency of the student’s choice. › Flexible online study options allow students to complete courses at your own pace. › Average employment rate of 100 percent upon program completion. › Bachelor’s degree option prepares students to complete graduate work in public health, social work, community counseling, public administration and other related fields. › Employment opportunities available with non-profits, social service agencies, public health departments, long-term care facilities and women’s health organizations.

Health Care Business Clarkson College prepares students to understand and manage the complexities of the health care environment through our Health Care Business program. You will develop the leadership and critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in diverse and dynamic settings. Nursing Clarkson College offers a full range of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral program options to meet the needs of student nurses, wherever they may be in their professional journeys. Physical Therapist Assistant Clarkson College educates physical therapist assistants (PTAs) in providing effective rehabilitative therapies to patients of all ages and abilities under the supervision of a physical therapist. Program Options & Duration › Associate’s degree in PTA Traditional option: Six semesters Transfer option: Four semesters › Dual Associate’s and Bachelor’s degree in PTA: 10 semesters

Radiography Radiography and medical imaging technologists master the art of using state-of-the-art imaging technology to help with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Clarkson College faculty put you on the path to a rewarding career in this dynamic field.

What Makes Our Program Different › No prerequisites. › Dual degree option allows students to earn their Associate’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in as few as three years. › First year lab and theory coursework prepares students for all clinical setting scenarios. › Hands-on experience with fully energized equipment and a 5-1 student to faculty ratio.
